works well for trying out the modules, using the graphic programing interface.am not very technical but could follow the youtube videos.had fun with younger members help.

Whilst I personally do not understand what this device does, my partner purchased this so that he could program it to automatically read and alarm against his glucose monitor.It worked an absolute treat and he managed to alter it for purpose very easily. It is still working years later.

Great device, lots of functionality and nicely presented. Only downer is that the battery provided is a waste of space. Datasheet, and tests on the internet indicate max power consumption of 100mA when heavily loaded. On my calculations a 100mAh battery should last well over an hour from full charge but actually it expires less than 21 minutes when running the factory test program like the one pre-installed. If I could get a replacement LiPo of the right size I would fit it, it's just soldered wires.Most battery powered devices arrive with the battery disconnected but this didn't - it's been draining on the shelf and that's probably what did for it. Disappointing, otherwise a good device.EDIT: I forgot to add, there is an internal JST connector that can be used for a battery connection, but check that you use a battery of the correct polarity as this connector is reversed in comparison to the Heltec ESP32 modules. The + pin is marked on the circuit board of the M5Stack and should connect to the red battery wire. If not, use a pin to push down the latch in the battery's connector and the wires can be removed and swapped in the connector.

Great product, easy to set up and update if you search for the instructions. The printed sheet text is very tiny.

M5stack products are perfect for making esp32 gadgets that have a completed professional finish to them. These battery modules just stack together between the base and the Top M5stack display/esp32 module. I now have a professional weather station running on my fridge door that does not need charging for days. If you program esp32 these are a brilliant for people learning or have skills in programming already. There are so many add on modules to add to the stack as well to cover most design ideas. If you need something specific , there is also a prototype board module for soldering on your on needs. Most modules are sold on Amazon. but go to their website to see the full range. Very good price on here for it. The difference between the black and grey i believe is the grey has a built in accelerometer.

Have bought several of this style but a new touch screen version looks the biz.

Ich habe eine Amateurfunk-Software aufgespielt und es ist soweit alles in Ordnung,der Akku hält nicht so lange ca. 45 Minuten ,Touchscreen geht bei mir nicht,die Auflösung ist gut,der Preis ist gestiegen,meinen ersten M5Stack bekam ich wesentlich billiger,aber sonst kann ich das Teil empfehlen.

Geniales Teil. Nutzes zu Versuchszwecken um diverse Werte aus meinem Smart Home per MQTT zu visualisieren. Sehr einfach zu programmieren mit der graphischen IDE.
