Google Daydream View VR Headset 2nd Generation for Pixel 2, 2XL 3, 3XL (Charcoal Gray)

This headset is unreal. I have a galaxy note nine and it still works in the headset with no issues. The picture quality is very good and it's the most comfortable vr headset for a phone I have ever used. Dont wear it too tight ot it will hurt the back of your head a bit. It can do things I didnt know phone vr headsets could do and there is COM QUALITY apps you can get right from the google daydream app, including games on the oculus go like virtual virtual reality and if you get this you have to get that game. It's a must have for the price point. I was skeptical because I had a headset before this and it was okay, the controller the last headset I had didnt work with most games. With the daydream that's not a problem at all. I'm overjoyed with this purchase.

I went to outer space and free climbed a cliff. I mean can't complain. Picture quality not great, but considering the price i'd say great value.

This is much better quality than other VR headsets I have tried. It is also the only one I could find that actually worked with my Pixel XL 3. Most other headsets I could find were only able to be used with a screen size up to 6". It is comfortable and easy to adjust. I only wish that there was a cover for the lenses on the inside of the headset (where you would look through them) so that they don't pickup dust and scratches.

Great product, but totally useless if the seller doesn't ship you all the parts. Replacement remotes for the google daydream headset DO NOT EXIST and when starting google daydream (the app designed for the goggles) you are required to turn on the remote to boot into the app. In essence, if you don't receive your remote, the headset will not turn on. AND THAT'S NOT ALL, if you decide to NOT to the use google daydream app, the sensor in the headset will open a pop up prompting you to download it EVERY time you put your phone into the headset.In summary, FRICK YOU AMAZON, and FRICK YOU GOOGLE.

Google really had a good thing going and completely wrecked it

Even with phones certified for daydream, it no longer let you downloads apps for VR. Pairing the controller is not easy, I had to do it at least a dozen times before it was recognized and updated the firmware, but even then it only works with the now-defunct daydream apps. In the end, daydream only works for the initial screen (the "river flowing"). I ended up using this headset with a bluetooth game controller and DeoVR player to see stereo VR180 and VR360 videos, up to 6K resolution. I like it for that purpose since is extremely light compared to a Samsung GearVR (also not working anymore with oculus) or a generic visor like those from desktek. The materials in the google headset are way better than those options, and I can wear them for 2 hours with no discomfort and I love that there is no fogging, which is a major issue with other VR headsets. The viewing angle is somewhat limited and from certain angles you will see the concentric circles of the fresnell lens.

It works well with our Google Pixel 2xl phones. We tried another headset that required placement of the phone in a tray. This headset makes it easy by allowing you to simply place your phone into the headset and strap it down. It also has a remote that allows for easy app navigation which is something other headsets do not include. The headset is also very comfortable to wear, and it is easy to adjust for all ages.

Comfortable headset with adjustable straps, clear lenses and reasonably priced entry into vr, since already owning a daydream compatible phone. Sadly getting into the platform as it's dying, but overall pleased with the experience.
