Quality
I bought the F5 mainly for the bike to bike intercom feature. Shipping was great got the F5 in 3 days. Out of the box the F5 feels like a quality product. I was expecting installation to be a little difficult. I was very pleasantly surprised at how easy the units installed. I put them on two helmets in under 30 minutes. Both F5s were paired right out of the box. My girlfriend and I took the F5s on a test ride. We both ride Harleys with no windshields. I could easily hear until the speed got up to around 55 mph. The speakers could be louder. Over all I am very pleased with the F5. Easy to install and easy to use. Only down side is the speakers need to be louder. After using the F5 for a few days I am very disappointed with the battery life. Streaming music or using a cell phone with the F5 I am getting less than 1 hour of use time before the battery dies. A lot shorter than the advertised 11 to 12 hour use time the unit is suppose to provide. I dont know if I have a unit with a bad battery or if this is the average use time. I am waiting for a response from Interphone. Hopefully it is a battery issue and not normal performance of the F5.The battery was bad in one of the units. Interphone replaced the unit within a week and it is working as advertised. I was very pleased with customer service at Interphone.

It's not perfect, but it's the best available
I love my F5s. My girlfriend and I use them to stay in contact whenever we go for a ride. We've even attached them to our snowboard helmets and used them on the mountain. Be aware however that range is significantly diminished when you lose line of sight (as with any BT technology right now).Pairing with more than one intercom can be a time consuming and frustrating experience. You're supposed to be able to connect up to 6 headsets but just 3 or 4 can be a major headache. Be sure you practice before you meet up with all your buddies and try to connect.Hopefully the next version will have the ability to support simultaneous BT connections. In an ideal world I'd love to be connected to my phone for music streaming with a higher priority connection to my passenger to cut in and speak over the music, and also my radar detector with the highest priority to cut in and alert over the music or passenger... wish list stuff.

Does not do everything as advertised
I ordered them thinking they would be great. The work well when using as an intercom or phone. I purchased the Sena SM10 to stream audio.Once I paired the units, the sound was okay. When I tried to connect to the second unit for intercom, it refused to connect. I cycled power to the unit, then the intercom would connect. When I tried to reconnect to the Sena unit, it would connect to my iPhone for streaming audio. The only way to connect to the Sena unit is to turn off the Sena, and power it backup after the Interphone is powered on.I then connected my Garmin Zumo 660 to the Interphone. If I was streaming audio, instructions from the GPS garbled all audio. I contacted Interphone about my issues. They said that everything should be paired to the GPS and then the GPS to the Interphone. This is not what it describes on their website.Once I save up a little, I will replace them with the new Sena units coming out that have two radios.

Interphone F5 is here at last.
Amazon has done it. Cyclebots is now selling the Interphone F5 via Amazon. The F5 sets the bar for motorcycle intercoms. It is easy to use. The stereo outputis loud and clear. The Bluetooth 3.0 is amazing. The big bang for the buck is multiple motorcycle hook up on intercom. It comes with everything you will need and then some. Truely a first class unit.If you liked the talking GPS ( Dora the ding-bat)then you'll love this talking Interphone (Sweet Cheeks).

Great Product
These are a bit pricey but absolutely worth it. I've only used a single unit but so far it's perfect to connect to my phone and stream music and make/receive calls. The voice is a bit weird but set it to the UK English setting for a slightly less irritating voice.
