My wife wanted it, but when she ordered it, I just thought "whatever", but I really love it. We're retired and while we both have smartwatches it's easier and more fun to look at this day-of-the-week clock. It's easy to read from across the room. It's also pretty accurate too, half way between days is midnight, etc. We mounted it just below our kitchen clock, which is a similar style, so it fits right in. And our friends get a kick from it when they notice it.

The surprise is that the movement is probably the same as the one used for the more expensive clock with Day, plus Hour, Minute, and Second hands. But instead of shafts protruding from the hub for the hands as most clocks have, the various concentric shafts are contained within the outermost day shaft. This means that the hour and minute hands each must have a hollow post to reach down to engage the various movement shafts. I was able to use a plastic straw to engage the hour shaft to verify it's function. Now I need to find a source for hands with hollow posts if I want the hours and minutes to be displayed as well. The second hand can be attached to the black button shown in the center of the clock, as it clicks away the seconds. If anyone knows of where these special hands can be found I sure would appreciate the info. The case is real wood and nicely made so this is a really nice gift item- Strangely useful but with a smile attached. I like it!

I really like i!!. It is extremely quiet, which is super cool. The wood also looks great, the glass is actually a little curved, which looks great. Was really happy with it overall... until I realized that I have to adjust it every other day, because it doesn't stay accurate, it slows down. That's my only compaint, and this function is important since it's... hmmm, a clock.
