EQUALIZER Fastway 90-02-4125 2-1/2" Receiver T-Shank 3" Drop/7" Rise x 12" Length

We needed a 2-1/2 receiver shank for our new F250. We had an existing Equalizer hitch with the standard 2" shank.I personally am not a big fan of using the adapter sleeves. My personal feeling is the sleeve is just another moving part in the hitch that I want to be tight and secure pulling my travel trailer.This mount gives you just that, perfect fit in the 2-1/2 receiver.The Equalizer hitch parts bolted up with no issues.I have also towed already with no issues.

I have been really satisfied w/ my hitch and setup until I got the new truck with the stupid sleeve. The sleeve would squish out where the pin rested in the sleeve hole and I had to hammer the sleeve out. Mine didn't have the depth "set" so it would slide too far in to the receiver when installing a hitch. Wrestling the heavy head, sleeve, and aligning the pin is a pain in the ass and there's tons of slop in the whole setup. This thing is an awesome addition to my sway/load setup and I recommend it to everyone with a 2.5" receiver.

I upgraded my truck and it has the 2.5” receiver. I wasn’t happy with using the sleeve adapter which had too much slop. This shank fits my F-250 perfectly and was an exact match for my Equal-I-zer WDH.

Rarely take the time to write reviews, but this irritated me a little. Why is this showing up all scratched up and missing paint?Am I sending it back? No. Is it a big deal? Not really, they all end up scratched up in the end. However, when you buy a new item it’d be nice if it showed up in new condition.

This fit like a glove kept my trailer right where I need it. with the new super dutys from ford this is a must.
