the microphone is well built, but the remote box is a piece O KRAP. It stops working after 3 feet, and they don't have a power adapter for it. I recommend for others that complain of static noise to wrap the remote box in tin foil and ground it, this will shield the outside frequencies..

The thing to keep in mind about this mic is that it's basically a wired mic that can also be used wirelessly. As a wireless mic, it's not great. The primary issue that I've found with it is the receiver, and more specifically the jack on the receiver. It can take some work to get the plug just right, and if the receiver gets moved the mic is likely to cut out. When the mic is plugged in, however (with the included cable, btw), it performs quite respectably, especially considering that I only paid $5 for it. I like it so much that I'm getting 2 more, which I will use as capable backups to my better mics.

The mic works well wired and does not require the batteries to be installed for it to work wired. However, the wireless is very poor. This VHF unit runs at too low of a frequency for most scenarios. The wireless pics up interference from almost everything that gets remotely close to being in between the mic and wireless unit. The range is also very poor. I only achieved 30 feet at the most before getting very bad constant interference. I cannot recommend this wireless unit and thus gave it one star. However, the mic does feel sturdy and sounds pretty good for the price. The bottom line is that if you need a wireless mic for any kind of professional event such as DJing, business and live performance, then look into UHF. For a little more there are better options for wireless that will not drop so frequently.

I had no problem hooking this up whatsoever. First I tried it wireless, hooked it up to my Lexicon Alpha, opened my DAW (Reaper) and heard my voice clear as a bell through my studio monitors, no interference whatsoever. Next I tried it hooked up with the included cable straight to my Lexicon Alpha and it sounded great. Next I tried it wireless on my practice amp, Fender Frontman 25r, plugged the wireless receiver into the input jack and it sounded great that way as well. Then I walked around my house to test the distance of the wireless and I never lost the wireless connection. I was probably a good 50ft away at my furthest. Very happy with my purchase.

It's a nice system and sounds loud, but since I'm working nights I don't use most of my equipment, but I have it.

Although the microphone unit itself feels heavy and well-built, the wireless portion is junk. The base of the mic will accept either the included XLR cable or a wireless 'stub.' There is a small base unit with an extending antenna (about 12" long) which connects to your audio equipment. You'll need to buy an extra 1/8" to 1/8" mono cable to connect to a PC sound card. The wireless reception is abysmal. If you move around while singing into the mic, it keeps dropping signal and emitting a loud static 'snow.' Even standing nearby (10 feet) and carefully orienting the microphone with the base antenna, the signal inexplicably fades in and out. At least the unit was very inexpensive...not worth my time to issue a return. The mic may work fine with the XLR cable, but I didn't test it that way (that's why 2 stars instead of only 1).

Gives good range. The crowd enjoys it plus it came in handy on many occasions. You just have to either unplug the transmitter when you're not using it or leave the mic on. It gives off bad distortion sounds when the mic's off. I'd leave it on, but then you'll run into battery replacing issues.

Ein gutes Funk Mikrofon kostet eben auch etwas. Das hier ist so ziemlich das letzte. Ständig Empfangs Unterbrechungen, Abbrüche etc. So etwas kann man sich als DJ nicht erlauben.

This system has a lovely clear sound, with a quality microphone, the receiver however is a light flimsy plastic, does the job well enough, a more substantial material should have been used, giving it more weight, that is the only drawback on an otherwise fine system

Recepción bastante buena y estable, el unico detalle seria que si tocas la antena mete ruido pero es un muy buen producto a excelente precio lo recomiendo
