fits right, costs less, works great
Perfect fit in a 2015 Infiniti QX60 to replace the in cabin air filter. Just grab a bright flash light (or cell phone light), lay on the floor under the glove box, remove the plastic filter cover above the transmission tunnel, pretty high, near the firewall. It is a vertical door with plastic pinch release tab. I used some grips to pull old filter out. Then I shimmied the new filter in place. Surely Nissan/Infiniti could have put this filter in a slightly better location. But in the end, it worked fine and took about 5 or 10 minutes, including a little trial and error. Much cheaper and faster than going to the dealer. You can DIY.

Works great so far
So far so good. This fit perfectly for my 2015 Infiniti QX60. Does take a while to install because of the position of the filter but totally a DIY.

Cabin Air Filter
Ordered it for 2020 Pathfinder. As usual Nissan has a very bad location for the cabin air filter. Thanks to You Tube video I was able to get the glove box out and then replacing the cabin filter was a breeze. Overall happy with the product and saving over $100.00 just labor at the dealership.

Almost Perfect Fit/ Not Easy to Install
I own a Nissan Altima 2016. The average cost for dealer installation is $75.00. The dealer charges $29.99 for the filter alone. You can buy an OEM filter online for $19.99 if you wish. However, for me either offer didn't seem too attractive. Consequently, I ventured out to purchase a generic cabin air filter to install it myself. The quality of this compatible product appears to be the same as the OEM. (see pics ) The filter in both OEM and compatible are poorly designed. The side construction could be much stronger as the filter tends to collapse upon removal and installation . Neither filter was designed for a true perfect fit. I recommend using needle nosed pliers to make the removal less painful. More importantly, it's not easy to install. In fact it's VERY DIFFICULT. The filter is hidden under the center dashboard console near the passenger side kick panel then look High Up way under the dashboard. (see pic ) Fortunately, the good news is that you won't need to remove the glove box. Believe it or not , some reviewers went to that extreme measure. However, it will take you a good 30 minutes to complete the job. You can view a youtube video to help assist you with the process. It will show you how to remove the plastic insert (access door) which conceals the filter compartment. I'd recommend installing a new filter every 12,000 miles. Try not to get too frustrated installing the new filter. Just be patient and you'll get it done. Rejoice afterwards like I did happily counting all the money and time I saved by avoiding the dealer and doing it myself.

Infiniti QX60 - easy installation
I bought this for my 2014 Infiniti QX60 and it looks exactly like the one that the dealership installed. Now that my car is out of warranty, I don't feel as inclined to pay what the dealership charges for their suggested maintenance. If you look at videos on how to replace this filter, many of them suggest removing the glovebox, but it isn't necessary and seems like a huge waste of time to me.This can easily be replaced in 5 minutes or less with no tools, just make sure you have ample light. This is one of those jobs that is best done by feeling rather than seeing. I felt it was easiest to access if I knelt on the ground outside the car and reached up; the filter is on the left side of the passenger footwell (see photos). Here's how I did it: - Press up on the latch on the housing cover (second picture) and remove the cover - Grasp the old filter by the bottom and pull out and then down to remove - Install the new one with the arrow pointing toward the rear of the vehicle. I put the top left corner in at an angle, then pushed it in with an upward motion as I slid it to the left. Press in on the filter from top to bottom to make sure it is in all the way. - To replace the cover, I put the top in with my right hand and held it in place, then pushed the bottom in with my left hand. Make sure you hear a little click so you know that the latch has engaged and the cover is fully seated. Give the cover a little pull (without pressing the latch) to make sure it is locked in place.

Easy out, harder to get in
2015 Pathfinder. I watch a You Tube video to find where the old filter was in my car. It is a tight squeeze for us big guys. Found the little door that you open, then found pulling out the old one was not all that easy until I got a little tool with a hook to grab it and get it out enough to put my hands on it and pull it out fully. 7 years and it was dirty. Getting the new one in is tricky but you just basically shove it in. The hardest part was replacing the little door holding it all in tight.I am glad it is done - I'll never do it again in this car.It seems the 2015 Pathfinder has a panel to remove so you do not have to remove the glove box on the 2015.
