I use about three of these in my bee smoker along with cardboard, newspaper and pine needles. The other stuff burns quickly and these things are what keeps it smoking for a half hour or so while I’m working the hives.

Did not work as hoped

I did not like these compared to most any other fuel I have used. Smoke is thin, low in volume, and would have to use too many to be cost advantageous. Pine straw works better. Will not be buy again.

Difficult to light on fire, maybe that’s how they are made but I tried to use them and just use newspaper and pine needles etc. lucky it was low cost

Really. These little burners are low heat but good for making smoke for vehicle leak testing.

There did not want to light and when they did, they barely produced smoke, just burnt up.

I thought these would be better for smoke production. Not a useful product for multiple hives unless you use quite a few of them.

Works great, slow smoke. You'll need 2 to get thru a big hive, but one works for a quick job.
