IT APPEARS THAT IT WILL MEET THE BASIC NEEDS OF AN IRONING BOARD COVER. i JUST HAVE ONE COMPLAINT. i COULD NOT GET IT TO FLATTEN OUT WITH JUST THE 2 VELCRO HOLDING STRAPS. LUCKILY I HAD AN OLD FASHIONED BOARD WITH THE STEEL GRIPERS AND SPRINGS. I WAS ABLE TO GET IT TO SMOOTH OUT USING ALL THE OLD HOLDERS. WITHOUT THEM I WOULD HAVE HAD TO TRY TO IRON ON A WRINKLED BOARD. ALSO THE FITTED SLEEVE THAT COVERS THE FRONT NARROW PORTION OF THE BOARD. DID NOT FIT QUITE RIGHT EITHER. I REALLY HAD TO WRESTLE WITH IT TO GET THAT PORTION OF THE BOARD. SEEMED THERE WAS A WRINKLE SEWN INTO THE SEEM. WITH A WHOLE LOT OF TUGGING AND ADDING THE EXTRA HOLDING SPRINGS. i EVENTUALLY PULLED IT HARD ENOUGH TO OVERCOME THE INHERENT WRINKLE.

So I don’t iron much, but one day I am ironing and realize the cover doesn’t just look horrendous. It is literally disintegrating in front of me! I honestly had never thought about that light foam, and after 10 years it had turned into a mess. As you can see, the bar is low. But this has made my ironing board new! No more little grimy foam bits on my clothes! And it is much easier to iron now! And it isn’t embarrassing when people look in my laundry room. It did go on easily and stay in place. Happy I finally decided to act like a grown up and take care of my ironing board!

When I moved into this house I found a built in ironing board, I didn't know was there which was a pleasant surprise. After using it a few times I noticed that whatever I ironed the boards cut out design under the cover would show through onto my ironed garments. So I figured I needed a new cover, one a little thicker and this did the trick. It doesn't lie completely flat, but I think it might be the installer, but it leaves no marks in my ironed garments so I am happy.

I did my homework and didn't want to spend too much but didn't want to sacrifice quality. I read many reviews and found a winner. This is a very well made ironing board replacement cover! Fits great, very strong Velcro strips to help it stay put, thick padding and a scorch resistant cover. Really the best, received it the next day too. Very happy.

I was a little annoyed that my husband ordered to least expensive replacement cover he could find... I iron a lot. And, the cover that came with my ironing board was a disaster. But, somehow the enclosed clasps for this do the trick and make this cover better than the tie-only covers. So, I'm sold. The scorch thing-a-ma-bob seems a bit useless.

I purchased this ironing board cover on January 25, 2020. By May 12,2020 I had to order another new ironing board cover as this one had burned through and was leaving residue on my iron/ clothes because it had degraded so badly. It was showing scorch and stain marks after about 30 days of use. We do iron quite frequently (normally daily and on a high heat/ steam setting) but for a product marked as scorch and stain resistant I would expect more than 30 days before it started to show serious signs of wear and completely unusable within 3 months. Very disappointing. If you’re a frequent ironer, this is not the cover for you.

Covers my ironing board completely, was easy to install, looks great, has given me a multi-use surface, not only for ironing, but also for folding, cutting fabric, etc., and has held up beautifully so far. Quite pleased with purchase.

I’m giving 3 stars because the cover was seriously too short for my standard board. The label indicated it was the right size but the product was very short. It appeared to be a well made cover of decent quality. The Velcro straps would probably keep the cover secured in place. Probably wrong cover in right package??

Seems great but I haven’t used it yet. Bought it for a vintage “step-stool” wooden board and I need to put more padding between the wooden “ironing board” so that the wood doesn’t scorch or bubble.
