I've purchased two. My experience with the first was so good I bought another when I wore it out. The first purchase was in May 2019. It is now June 2022 and it finally wore out and needed to be replaced. I'd say three years of HEAVY DAILY USE and it held on for three years ? Sign me up. When I first purchased it, I was like no WAY is this flimsy thing going to hold up to the brutal wear and tear by a remote graphic designer. I expected my computer to tilt a bit when I typed, or it to be a bit off balance or straight up break. I was sooo wrong, this is my absolute favorite product I have ever purchased for my home office or computer. It stays put and when I furiously type the computer doesn't wobble at all. You can see that my old one (grey) started to separate from the seam. Other than that, looks absolutely brand new. The sticky did not wear out (although it hasn't been moved since I put it on the first time) and it removed clean with zero residue. The new one (blue) looks slick. Feels really sturdy and works just like the old one. The new one has air holes, which I appreciate. Since I use some heavy programs my MacBook Pro tends to get hot, so maybe this will help. I will say, I am not sure how well this will work with other brands of laptops. It is going to depend on how the notebook is balanced. Apple tends to take a lot of care in making sure their laptops are very well balanced. My friend bought this on my recommendation (he had an inexpensive windows notebook, same size as my MacBook Pro) and when he used the keyboard it wobbled a bit, only because the heavier components were in one of the back corners, making it unstable. Super happy with my purchase, Moft FTW !!!

Perfect! I had my first MOFT for about 5 years and transferred it from one laptop to the next wothout an issue. The edges of last one slowly started to shed the liner material and got a bit dirty so it was time for a new one. Feels great, is sturdy but super slim. What else would one want!

Day 1 (April 16, 2020): I immediately installed this on my 2019 MacBook Pro 16" laptop when it came in. I was drawn to the idea of improving posture from the heightened screen - and I do feel the improvement that the stand offers in my posture. Right now, it works well - as of one day of use. When set to the higher position I was afraid it would be a bit wobbly but I really don't notice at all. I rest my palms on the sides of my touch-pad and type from there - my palms don't really lift up and the typing experience it just a good as it was, if not better. When I intentionally move the laptop I notice a bit of fault of the stand. It's not wobbly but it swivels from the build of the stand being a bit flexible. The stand twists under the laptop when this happens. Another thought: when the stand is not in use (as it sits under the laptop, folded) the laptop's rubber feet do not sit on surfaces. So I anticipate the stand to get dirty from not being in use due to this. I personally don't so much mind it, but is worth noting. I can't personally evaluate the build quality after one day of use but I would like to return and complete the review after more use. Stay tuned. Day 35 (May 21, 2020): Still operates the same as day one - it as been holding up well. I have noticed a few things that weren't initially something I really cared about but want to highlight for others that may find it a problem. When folded and attached under the laptop, the stand is the only thing making contact with the service it's on. Originally it seemed that it would pick up a lot of dirt because of this, but I actually haven't noticed it get any dirtier.

If your on the move and using your laptop in multiple locations, this has its place. I'm concerned with the long term use of it. I'm hoping it proves to be resilient over time. If you're stationary at a desk long term, I would probably choose another type of stand. I'll give this a 8 out of 10. One point off for feeling slightly flimsy ( althogh it does work) and 1 point off because when my laptop top screen is open and upright, its prone to tipping backwards when you come in contact with your laptop in certain ways. It just feels a little unbalanced. I did unstick the stand and reinstalled it a little further back on the base to try to elevate that unbalanced feeling. However it didn't help.

Moft has been my go to laptop stand since it was released almost a decade ago. Genius of a product! Slim, tough and very useful!

UPDATE: After more than 3 years, I needed to replace the stand. The old one peeled off with some effort and did not leave a sticky goo like I expected. The amount of wear that I got from the first one seems reasonable. I use a desktop computer at home, so my laptop usage is moderate (three to four times a week for two or three hours at a time. ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM 09/2022: Like many, I'm surprised at how well this stand works. I was hesitant to purchase a stick-on stand with no metal parts for stability, but I'm glad I took a chance. I'm using the stand with an M2 MacBook Air I recently purchased. It lays pretty flat while not in use (it's about the same thickness as the pads already on the laptop). After a small learning curve, it's easy to extend the stand to use and then collapse when you're done. It's very stable and much more convenient than having to keep track of another item in your laptop bag. Unfortunately, if your laptop has vent holes on the bottom in the back or middle area, you'll probably want to consider another option.

Es excelente, es la versión más nueva del moft stand. Le queda perfecto a mi macbook pro m1 pro de 14” Es excelente para escribir código y hacer videollamadas. Lo recomiendo mucho. Los imanes lo mantienen en su lugar una vez pegado a la lap.

Die Idee ist toll, das System wirkt nach den ersten Tagen überraschend stabil und erfüllt seinen Zweck wirklich gut. Das anbringen des Ständers ist - obwohl eigentlich ganz einfach - dann doch nicht so einfach getan, die „Anleitung“ macht es nicht leichter … Insgesamt aber ein praktisches Accessoire, wenn man mit dem Notebook oft unterwegs ist und etwas für die Ergonomie tun möchte.

Me encanta este soporte y lo volví a comprar para nuevo portátil y también para el portátil de mi pareja. Recomiendo no plegar-lo fuera de las posiciones normales porque a la larga dejara de aguantar.
