Great extinguisher for the back of my SUV
I have had this for about 6 months and haven't had the chance to use it (thankfully), but it mounts nicely and has stayed in place well. It's not clear from the description, but the fire extinguisher DOES come with a quality mounting bracket, which is easy to access quickly but also secure. The only time I have had one of the clips come loose was when I loaded up my 4runner during a move. Even then, only one popped loose and the other held the extinguisher securely in place.There are as many opinions on which type of fire suppressant is best as there are on which truck brand is best or which politician to vote for, but... from the objective research I've found, Halotron seems to be a good balance of effectiveness without being overly messy. Hopefully, I'll never find out personally. :)

Glad I haven't had to use this one... yet!
I have this in my VW Westfalia van just in case. I had another VW van that the engine threw a rod and caught on fire and was sure glad I had the stock extinguisher at hand. The engine was shot, but I saved the van. When I got my new van, there was no extinguisher so I thought I'd better get one and decided to upgrade to this better type of extinguisher. Kind of pricey, but cheap compared to replacing my vehicle.

Good looking insurance
I am excited to never have to use this. It looks great and will sit attached to the seat rails on the floor of my passenger seat in the even I have an issue that requires it. Running 3 fuel pumps and 2200cc injectors if something goes it going to go quickly and its nice know I have something just in case. This thing comes with really nice clamps already with will work for my mounting location. They also sell other clamps for roll bar mounts.

Although I hope I never have to use it, I feel better knowing I may at least attempt to either slow a fire from engulfing my Porsche 911 Turbo S or extinguish it completely. Fits quite nicely on the floor in front of the passenger seat.
