Been looking into getting a mic to put on my helmet mounted gopro and try my hand at some motovloging. I tried (bought) a bunch of different mics (Movo, Sony, Purple Panda...) and really struggled with engine noise, wind noise and vocal distortion in the videos. So I was recommended this mic from by another motovloger and all I can say is that it works great. All the distortion is gone and the audio is crystal clear now. Probably going to buy another one to have just in case.

My boyfriend lost his mike a while ago. I got fed up with his raging and he looked upset he couldn’t talk to his buddies anymore. So I decided to ask one of my friends what I could do to help remedy the situation. he told me to not settle for a mike under $20 because it would suck. I wasn’t about to spend that much money on a mike so I got this one. It’s been a couple of months now and so far, so good. It doesn’t come lose, the quality is pretty good, and for the first few days he would constantly thank me. Should he ever lose it I know where to go now!

This does not fit as snug as the original, but it does not simply fall out. So it is snug enough to stay in place. I would have liked it to fit more snugly though so as not to come out inadvertantly while moving the headset around (such as putting it away or transporting it). Overall, great replacement but not as good as the original.

Had it for a month now. Zero issues, plugged it in and everyone can hear me trash talking in COD now. Stupid middle schoolers deserve to hear what I have to say to their scrawny a.... Update: five months later the mic stopped working... how can I trash talk kids now!?!?

This thing sounds great and works fine however its not the highest quality so sometimes it will start to fall a little annoying however I can complain as I needed a universal replacement for my Tritton AX720.

Mic swivels very easily, just by turning my head, the arm is very week and the mic drops, i have to re adjuste every 5 secs... I ordered a different one, this one is going in the trash...

Bought for turtle beach recon 50x. And the only problem I have with it, is it’s TOO good lol the thing can probably hear a mouse fart from the other room. I rated it 5/5 stars because it’s better than the original, and for a damned good price.

I ride a motorcycle and have a motovlog set up on my helmet in which I use this external mic for. It works perfectly with my GoPro Hero 8 Black. As long as you have the mic inside the helmet, there is extremely minimal wind noise. It doesn't even pick up your breathing. But it does pick up your voice, the music playing, the exhaust of the bike, and so on.
