Works well and easy to assemble! Used it for my birdbath and the birds love it! It needs to stay submerged and works in strong sun and a slightly deeper birdbath bowl! Overall I’m pleased with the product !

It worked great for TWO days. If I hadn't throiw away the packaging, I would send it back. I followed all tge suggestions. Pump was always submerged except the few seconds I would check to make sure filter was clear. What a disappointment

I was disappointed and had to return this solar fountain. It just wouldn't stick to the bottom of my birdbath. Too bad! I loved the idea of it.

We wanted a water feature in our rock garden. We simply chose a quite a large garden pot filled it with water and floated the water pump in the pot. Viola! a lovely fountain . Every morning when it become sunny there it is water sparkling in the sun and the birds love it too.Helpful hint.... if you are using the pump in this way and want to keep it more centered in the garden pot. We used a on of the black plastic pots that our shrubs came in that was the same depth as the garden pot but has a smaller circumference. It limits the area in which the pump can float but still feeds it the water it needs.Enjoy it ~ There was quite a bit of "oohing and aahing" when friends came to visit~

I have been using it daily and love how it works. Yesterday afternoon it was working fine and this morning it would not work. When I made sure it was clean, I tried to use it again. It did not work, however later it seemed to be working a little. So, I am hoping that it will work tomorrow.

I could love this solar water pump.... BUT, the suction cups are so tiny they don't stick down, so the thing floats around the birdbath and empties out all the water, since it cannot stay centered. My birdbath is glazed ceramic, very smooth. I even mounted it on a small slab of marble. That lasts about 5 minutes before it floats off. Maybe I'll try replacing the suction cups for some larger ones.It is really cool that it starts pumping immediately when the sun hits it and turns off in shade or evening. AND it's very powerful. Too bad it's impossible to use.UPDATE: I figured out a solution to holding it in place: some fishing line to secure it to the small piece of marble held it in place and it worked beautifully for exactly 5 days, then as quickly as it started working it stopped. I can’t get it to work again.So, that was a waste of money.
