I use this stand with a Yamaha P-85, and so far the only issue I have is that the P-85 has a small, strange footprint and doesn't really sit on the pads of this stand very well, but that's the piano's fault, not the stand's. I play standing up, and this Z stand extends to a more than adequate height (I'm about 6'3"). It does shake a little bit, but not in a way that makes you think it's going to collapse. If you play aggressively, the stand will move with you a little, but it's very sturdy and I haven't worried about it giving out. The assembly is very easy, took about three minutes. Adjusting the height is a slight issue because each side adjusts separately, so if you're not careful you won't be quite level, but it's not difficult to do - the knobs are large and turn easily. The arms lock in place and feel very solid, and they also fold back easily to transport it. As another reviewer mentioned, for the price this stand includes a lot of nice touches, like rubber ends on the arms and the large knobs for adjusting the height and width. Altogether a very impressive item for a good price.

Ordered this keyboard stand for my new 88-key Korg. The stand came in a (very) small box with three pieces and a few knobs that assembled in just a few minutes. The height is adjustable in 2" increments, and the width is adjustable to handle even big 88-key rigs like mine. The stand folds into a small space for transport, and can be disassembled and slipped into a small gig bag if necessary. I'm partial to Z-style keyboards (as opposed to X-style) and this one feels very solid. Unless you plan on jumping on your keyboard onstage, this stand should be able to handle whatever you plunk on it. Excellent deal for the price. Highly recommended.

Just shy of full 5 stars because: it does wobble on carpet if playing fast/many notes simultaenously. Saw comments saying product received is different from picture & description. Here's text on box of recent delivery (July 2021); stand looks Exactly like picture. -(H) 24-36" (W) 21-33" (D)16.5" - Weight: 16.5 lbs - Capacity: 375 lbs So far appears good, solid sturdy stand even on carpet. Will have to live with and repair the minor cosmetic damage from it's UPS (delayed) travels (see below). need now so no plan to return at this point. - Box reads "Model PKBZ1", see no Yamaha logo on box or stand, happy so far with sturdiness of stand. - Tip: Ensure both Z's the same desired height before final assembly. - Some self-adhesive pads included, but instead used 'grabby" plastic shelf liner on top of each Z. Keyboard lightweight (12-20 lbs), believe stand could handle heavier keyboards. - Quickest if have two people for assembly (to get both Z sides same height). Note to AMAZON folks: UPS (final) delivery with extensive damage: outside box was totally open on one side & crushed. Thankfully inside box with the stand had only one torn place, and stand appears (to date) to be structurally sound, no damage except comstic damage to finish in several places.. Never Ever before had anything delivered by UPS or any carrier with such extensive damage to outside box.

Sturdy, and adjustable to many different heights from standing for stage work or sitting! It would be almost impossible to tip this over, a consideration for stage work and people with kids!

I bought a Yamaha P85 electric piano. I am a semi-pro musician but not a piano player so only play piano for fun and song writing so this unit stays at home, no setup/tear down. This stand is well made, sturdy and readily adjustable. If I were traveling it would not be difficult, it is easy to set up and it actually has somewhat of a modular storage ability and with that make sure you read the instructions first before first assembly because it doesn't just "unfold" as it looks like it would. You need to remove the screw knobs to get the sections apart. I have it set for sitting but I'm 6'4" and it goes plenty high enough for me to stand and still be stable. With my piano the surface rails are plenty long enough to add tier rails for a second keyboard.

I wanted a solid keyboard stand that would support and protect my hefty investment in my digital keyboard. It’s set up in my home for playing and practicing. Came quickly. I put it together quickly and without difficulty. The stand is adjustable in width and height. It is solidly built. Which means it is not light or portable. Keyboard rests on top, but it remains in place well. Very happy with this product and would highly recommend for those who don’t need a lightweight portable stand.

Purchasing a product for this price, I expected something flimsy. This stand was a delightful surprise. It is made of heavy duty metal, and packed in such a way that assembly was a snap. The legs unfolded to make the Z shape, and the center section could be secured with one large screw on each side. I am very pleased with this purchase.
