This thing is awesome. I was renovating a rental condo with a smaller, exterior HVAC/storage room. It had a single incandescent bulb fixture, and it was quite dark in the whole room. My contractor wanted to install an overhead fluorescent fixture for a bunch of cash, and that would have also limited the overhead clearance in the room. I bought one of these and ran it around the ceiling and even behind the water tank and HVAC unit. It comes with an in-cord switch. When you click it on, all corners of the room are very bright. Such an inexpensive investment, but a really great outcome for me. I had one of these in my old house on a dimmer, mounted above the kitchen cabinets. It was great indirect/night lighting when you didn't want the overhead lights on. So many good uses for this, whether in a closet or as a decorative addition. They last for years and are easy to replace when the bulbs go out. I think I got 8 years out of the one over my kitchen cabinets.

I'm giving this LED strip light 5 stars because the lights themselves are awesome. I used them to light up the perimeter of a vanity mirror, and they look so good in that use. White, bright, and clear as day. The dimming ability is great too. That being said, there are a couple things to watch out for with this product. My mirror has a black border. I saw mixed reviews and pictures as to whether the backing strip would be white or black. I decided to take a chance. Well, I lost, as the strip I received in early May was white. However, I do have to say I was surprised by how decent the white strip actually looked on my black mirror, so much so that I don't mind it anymore. The second thing is that the adhesive tape on the back of the light strip sucks. When I first stuck the strip down it actually seemed like it was adhering well. But pretty soon, the strip started lifting up at corners, as you probably shouldn't bend the strip at 90 degree angles, meaning those corners are not stuck down completely flat. After the corners lifted, it wasn't long before nearby straight sections followed. I fixed this by getting these Flat Wire Clip Holders https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08R1GYK3P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, which worked very well for me. None of the light strip actually touches the mirror anymore because I have it taut going from clip to clip, and there is some depth to the bottom of the clips. But since the clips are still fairly flat, it nevertheless gives a clean look, as if the strip were directly stuck on. When I peeled the remaining strip up in order to install it using the clip holders instead, some of the top shiny black layer of my mirror edge came off with it. That was really annoying, since the adhesive wasn't strong enough to hold the strip to the mirror, but was somehow still strong enough to take off some of that top layer. Good thing the mirror edge is black, so some strategic Sharpie use was able to cover up the damage. But I recommend caution and care if you have to remove the strip at some point.

This LED light set is nice, especially for the price. It's easy to install and is able to be cut if too long. This set has a dimmer which on full is very bright. I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 because the glue on the back is not strong. The kit comes with 5 squares of 2 sided tape, but I found that not to be enough. Especially around the line to the plug. I used one on each corner and 2 at the start and finish, but that wasn't enough to hold it. I had to use 3 more squares, I had some of my own, of double sided tape. Make sure you have extra squares of double sided tape before you start. It will save your alot of time and frustration. Other than that, I would recommend these lights.

Great product. Lights are soft white. You can dim them with the supplied dimmer. They can go very low or high. If you choose, you can also not use the dimmer and they will be one brightness. Easy markings where to cut the lights if they are too long. In my case, I only needed a little over 12 feet. These lights are 16 feet, so I just cut off the remaining. Easy to install and the sticky tape, sticks pretty good.

I have used this type of lighting in several other solutions. Super easy to use. I installed these lights in the top of an antique cabinet that I converted into a display cabinet. They are easy to conceal, very reliable and bright. However, the bright white is very white. Next time I would get the soft white. Also, depending upon the surface, they don’t adhere that well. For sure, the more porous the surface, the less they stick and tend to unstick. To me this is a non issue and easily fixable with a number of options. Overall, it’s a great and inexpensive solution to a huge variety of lighting needs. Definitely recommend.

Working great as a replacement light source on a coffee table project. Like the fact that I can adjust the brightness without having to rely on a remote control.

I bought these lights to go behind our headboard last year and they were great. Our home flooded with Hurricane Helene and they got ruined so I of course ordered the same set. These came on time and the package was in good shape but when I went to install them, the adhesive stuck to the paper when I removed it. I was annoyed but needed some notmalcy after losing everything so used double sided tape. The strip itself then ripped apart about ten feet in as a result of the adhesive being all stuck to the lights and the strip. I was going to return but just didn't have the patience to deal with shipping broken lights back. I bought a stip of cobb lights that work great.
