Sennheiser HSL10 Handset Lifter

I don't know if I set something up incorrectly but sometimes the lifter just doesn't work...my phone will ring and I have to hit the button on the headset several times in order for it to answer...most of the time it works with absolutely zero issues, but other times it's a pain.

Works perfectly in conjunction with the Sennheiser OfficeRunner Headset to provide a very functional answer for heavy phone use where sound quality is important. I've had many competitors products over the years and this is the first to be as superlative as advertised. No paid review here, just my astonishment at how well the whole thing works. Note that not all corded phones will work with the HSL10. One that does, that I use and find quite nice is the Panasonic KX-TG6672B. Corded handset at base, with a big readable backlit screen, and with two (and up to 6 or so) cordless handsets in the bundle. Great system overall!

Lifter was delivered on Dec 21st. It did not make it 2 months before 'dying'. After researching issue online, apparently there is a battery inside the Lifter that is not replaceable. The docking station and headset charge pretty quickly and worked well. Unfortunately they are useless as soon as the Lifter stops working - once this happens you are back to lifting the phone off the cradle yourself. Very disappointed in short life of product.

We had to change our phone's ringing to get this to work. It also did not properly fit our Polycom VVX 400, which might have been part of the problem. We finally got it to work, but it took far too much effort to get there, and it did not look like it would last very long as set up.

It works as it should, but installation was trickier than expected. Instructions might be improved.

Needs to just detect ring tones and not respond to voices

The refurbished lifter worked as expected. It was easy to set up after watching a video. Some of the tape was missing and there was no cd enclosed. I found what I needed, however, on the website. This will make phone calls much easier. I wish I had bought one years ago.

Finally everyone in the office can still meet or be away from the desk to do other things and still attend to their calls! The installation was easy although some adjustments like the height were needed but a quick google search online helped us with that!
