Why all the bad reviews?
I'll admit it's a little hard to read from far away, but we aren't flashy people. Seemed sturdy enough, I almost thought it was metal. Went on easy. Had no problems with breaking, like other reviews. Maybe someone screwed it on too tight. Bottom line, it's a plastic license plate cover. It was exactly as I expected. Go pens!

Seems just as good as others I've owned over the years. It is metal, however the team names plates are plastic. Seems like it should be ok.

Exactly what i wanted
Pretty solid piece. Thick metal and seems to be made well. I originally purchased this for the front license plate where I was going to put a Pens plate, but the top piece where it says PITTSBURGH actually covers up part of the logo, so I ended up using the plate by itself. On the back, where the real license plate is, it works perfectly.
