Great Monitor - Menu Rather Annoying, Crappy Speakers
As a digital artist and a gamer, choosing a good monitor is important. I have heard good things about the brand, and this monitor has not disappointed. The color is exactly what it should be (this is after calibration, of course) and the brightness can be adjusted quite extensively. Also, as a gamer, the monitor resolution is important so that the image is not distorted or limited. a 1080x1920 resolution is typically the highest resolution games support, even some games that go back over five years. The "Game Mode" feature is fantastic. I have had instances with very dark areas in games that this has helped me in, and it works well. Now for the bad. First off, the speakers are terrible for anything. I simply do not even bother using them at all. The included stand is a little bit wobbly, but you would need a very shaky desk for it to be a problem. Finally, the menu for adjusting monitor setting (this is built into the monitor, not part of Microsoft Windows) is difficult to navigate, and I have run into instances where I get stuck in a sub-menu and cannot navigate out. Also, the buttons are sharp and not very pleasant to press, but its easy to tell which button is which. All in all, I think this was a great purchase. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. I would like to see ViewSonic build upon the results of this monitor and further improve it, but I don't think I'll be in the market for a new monitor for a while, unless of course I get a second one to duel-screen with, in which case, I'll probably get another of these.

This is a really good monitor for the price
I primarily use this product for gaming on my PC and occasionally Xbox. Overall the monitor is perfect for a desktop setup considering the size. I have not had any problems with the monitor at all, the customization options are simple and effective as well as the portability just in case you do need to move it. I fell in love with this monitor and have already bought three of them for my personal setup at home. I recommend this product to anyone trying to get a nice monitor for an affordable price. Some things you may want to look out for are the sound quality and the material quality. The volume of the monitor does not go very high and doesn't sound the best so I would recommend a speaker along with it. The quality of the back panel is strong but is only hard plastic so it is vulnerable to some damage in that respect. Other than that I have no other problems with the monitor and I am very pleased with my purchase.

Better then expected
Bought one of these for a new custom build i was doing, was the cheapest and the right size i was looking for so i went ahead and got one, shipping with prime was slow this time around and took 8 days(due to weather when the weather was fine) but still got it and am very happy with it, extremely clear and actually better then my 500$ monitor(go figure) Great for gaming and anything else you want to do with it. It was actually so nice i went ahead and bought another one to run triple screens, that was much faster shipping at 2 days and these monitors are extremely durable, i actually forgot i had it on my desk and knocked it off and the screen hit the corner of my desktop case and not a single scratch or anything, still like it never happened. Overall very happy with these and will be getting another one soon

Adequate basic monitor
I bought this because I needed a monitor, any monitor, to use with a couple of devices with HDMI output. This monitor has overall done a good job for the price, but it has some quirks that you should know about before choosing it. Pros: * Works. No dead pixels. * Reasonably fast to wake up. * The "2" button is a one-press shortcut to switch inputs. * Power supply is internal (no brick on the floor). Cons and quirks: * No built-in USB hub. * The onscreen menu is handled by four buttons in a row: "1 2 ↓ ↑", where "1" is usually "back/exit" and "2" is usually "select". It's slightly tricky to remember which button to push, all of the ranged controls (like brightness/contrast) have to be selected and then changed and it doesn't display this clearly, and the "Memory Recall" function, which resets all settings, is in the main menu and has no confirmation so it's easy to press by accident. * Occasionally has a blip of static a couple seconds after switching source (not recurring, so not really a problem). * Cannot be easily made dim enough for comfortable night-time use; there isn't much brightness range and what there is is tedious to adjust. * Stand has only a tilt adjustment. (When vertical, the height from the tabletop to the bottom edge of the image is 12 cm or 4.5 inches.) * When I connected it to a BeagleBone Black running Linux in text mode, the image was shifted downward about five pixels, so that the bottom line of text is partly cut off (can't see the cursor underscore). This may be a quirk of the BBB, or it may be that the monitor has trouble correctly aligning images which are solid black on the top and bottom edges (wouldn't think that would be a problem in pure digital inputs, though). Mixed-bag notes: * The clear plastic ring at the bottom center is a giant blue power light. It can be disabled in the menu. But it turns amber in sleep mode and this cannot be disabled. * Automatically tries other sources when one goes away. So if you have two computers connected and you put one to sleep it'll display the other one, which is convenient. On the other hand, it's terrible if you have, say, a Chromecast plugged in to the HDMI port (which *always* provides a signal). This function cannot be disabled. Complete list of ports on the back: * AC power in * Line audio out * Headphones out * HDMI in * DVI in * VGA in

This is best monitor for your money, period.
I was deadset on either a Samsung or Dell monitor for work. Someone suggested I take a look at ViewSonic. It gets glowing reviews from many sources, so I threw this into the mix. The reviews were better than the Dell and Samsung models and the price was unbeatable. This thing is a workhorse. Picture quality is fantastic and so much brighter than my old monitor. The inputs are great: HDMI/DVI/VGA, and I love the height, great design, and excellent quality. It looks, feels, and performs as good or better than the Samsung. In fact, I liken it to the 'Samsung' of computer monitors(I love Samsung TVs)! I will be buying ViewSonic for my computers from now on.

ViewSonic VX2252MH is not actually a LED monitor it is LCD monitor.. I am really not satisfied after buying this monitor. Picture quality is not good, worst to watch video and screen is full of darkness even after setting brightness and contrast at the top level.

It works fine, the screen quality is good, the response time is excellent. Works without any hassle. The wobbliness is something of a minor annoyance but not more than that. Good buy for the price, also arrived way before delivery date so a plus there. Does not come with an HDMI cable only DVI and VGA
