Great monitor bought for general use while working from home! I use this as a second monitor on a MacBook Pro and it does the job admirably. Great satin anti-glare finish good brightness and colour representation. You probably want a faster or OLED monitor for serious gaming but this isn’t what I bought it for!Be aware though that you will need to buy a ‘proper’ USB C cable to use it with a modern MacBook are there isn’t one bundled with the monitor (HDMI is included) and the USB C charge cables (iPad and MacBook) do not support video.The only other limitations are lack of height adjustment and no ability to bracket mount, neither of which were issues in my case.

Great cost effective monitor. Purchased 2 VX279C monitors to use with MacBook Pro 2016. One on HMDI and other on USB-C. Monitors arrived but would not work on USB-C even with Apple proprietary USB-C supplied cable. Called ASUS but they could not resolve. Used Amazon chat as last resort before return. Amazon put me to Indu who passed me on to Jolo (sorry cant recall). ‘J’ spent an age analysing and called me. She then took the time to call Apple who took me through some basic checks. Issues kept coming back to cable. So i tried a new USB C that came with a new external HDD and monitor sprung to life. Already happy with the support received; i was blown away when ‘J’ called me back and offered a reduction to cover the cost of purchasing a new USB-C cable!Best customer service effort ever.I am a very forceful character and very quick to anger believing i know and have tried everything. Having such a calm and thoughtful customer service representative team response really turned this from a bad experience and product return into a very happy customer!Very pleased with Amazon customer services today. Very good value for your money

Good colour combination etc.It is not height adjustable which is the only thing I miss and no usbc as well but that wasn’t expected.Very good for what it says on the Tin

I bought this for my Dad’s birthday and he loves it. The picture is really clear and it’s perfect for both work and gaming. Kinda want one for myself now!

Nice monitor, use it for work, so no gaming experience. More than good enough for what I want.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a Surface PRO 7 (new) and Microsoft Surface Dock. I connected from my Surface Dock to the ASUS monitor via HDMI cable which came with the Monitor using a HDMI to Mini DP connector.When I made the first connection, I got a line at the top of the screen (See video) then it started to flash. I rebooted my Surface book, and all looked good for 30 Mins then shutdown.Next morning all went well then, I then noticed the text starting to degrade and shimmer, then straight to the flashing screen with band at the top.I then tried HDMI to USB-C direct to my Surface PRO all okay for around 30 mins then same thing happened again.I called Amazon Tech support, they too me through some fault finding on the Monitor but no change. They got ASUS Tech support online, he asked me if I had another device I could connect to the monitor. I duly connect an Acer Chromebook and it worked fine no issues. The ASUS support person indicated that there may be an issue with my Surface PRO, as he said that they had many clients with Surface PRO using this monitor. In the meantime, I bought a DP to mini DP from Amazon as I thought it may be the HDMI connections I was using.I went to PC World with my Surface PRO and they tested it on an old AOC Monitor with a HDMI to USB-C connector and it worked fine. They then ran a full diagnostic on my Surface PRO, and all was okay.PC World did check on the Microsoft Website for Surface PRO compatible monitors and this model wasn’t on the list.The DP to Mini DP cable arrived, I also update the firmware on my Surface Dock and I downloaded the latest driver from ASUS for the monitor. The ASUS Tech support never thought to check the driver status or even mention to check its compatibility with Surface PRO's.Nevertheless, I attached the new DP to mini DP and it worked great no issues for over an hour. Next morning the dreaded flashing screen started and I had enough.I have now upgraded to a BENQ Monitor, by all accounts it is compatible however it also £100 more expensive.Amazon were extremely helpful during this process; therefore, I cannot fault them in any way.In summary I am not saying this is a bad Monitor because it looked great when it did work but don't buy one if you have a Surface PRO, in fact be very wary of the monitor you do choose as there are lots of horror stories of "flicker" issues with people buying monitors for Surface PRO

J'ai acheté cet écran pour à la fois transmettre le signal vidéo et charger mon laptop et ainsi n'avoir qu'un seul câble à brancher. Malheureusement, même avec un câble certifié 100W, la puissance délivrée par l'écran est inférieure aux 45W que requiert mon MacBook Pro. Outre cet inconvénient, la qualité est correcte, l'écran est très stable et les préréglages d'image ainsi que la possibilité de paramétrer deux touches de réglages selon ses besoin est très appréciable.

Un écean simplement convenable mais sans plus : image instable, difficultés avec le reglage filtre lumiére bleue. Trop tard pour le retourner mais decu de cet achat

Malgré la description, la résolution de cet écran n'est PAS celui indiquée. (j'avais une meilleure résolution avec un ancien moniteur Dell 17 pouces d'il y a 10 ans!).L'alimentation par USB-C ne marche pas. Obligé d'utiliser le bloc secteur.
