NOT a direct replacement ! Had to make new metal duct work to make it fit !
The quality of the AC is very good. I have been in manufacturing for 30 years, so I know quality.Problem is, they have changed the footprint of the unit....shorter in one direction, and LONGER in the other direction ! Its going on a boat, where space is limited, and will not bolt into the same positon. So, to make it fit, I have to remove the galvanized duct work, and make a longer duct that will reach the "new location". See the photo of old duct, next to the mock up made of cardboard to get size right....then will make one out of sheet metal. Also, the blower flange is diferent and needs an adapter plate, also made of cardboard in the photo. Not too happy about all the extra work!
