These LED bulbs are a great choice for anyone who wants bright, daylight-quality lighting. At 5000K, they give off a clean, natural light that’s perfect for working, reading, or just brightening up a room. The 60-watt equivalent is spot-on, and they’re plenty bright without feeling harsh. Installation was as simple as screwing in any other bulb, and they work perfectly in my non-dimmable fixtures. I installed these bulbs in both of my bathrooms about four years ago. As a matter of fact I replaced every bulb in my home with LED's. My sons all but complained at how bright the bathroom was once I installed these bulbs. You expect LED bulbs to last forever. They often seem to, but occasionally the circuit board inside the bulb sometimes flakes out. This is what finally happened to one of my bulbs so I had to order some replacements. I have no complaints. Back when LED bulbs were new and expensive I put a couple of LED flood light bulbs in a motion light outside my home. In less than a year the circuit boards on both bulbs were flaking out. Each bulb died in thirds. LED bulbs are manufactured better these days and last longer. Out of all the bulbs I purchased four years ago only one has failed. I figure that's a pretty good percentage. I only needed the one replacement, but it's nice to have extra should another bulb eventually give up the ghost. The energy savings adds up and I've only had the one bulb flake out so I have no complaints. After all, the bathroom is probably the worst environment for light bulbs with all the moisture in there. I'm happy enough with these bulbs that I ordered again.

I didn't purchase my refrigerator/freezer as it came with the house. The incandescent bulb in the refrigerator, only 40W, was always too dim, hot, and finally blew out. I decided to get a cool white bulb and it would have to be small enough to fit in the space left by the old bulb. The Great Eagle bulb seemed as though it would just fit, and happily, it does! The results are like night and day, literally, so I can actually see what's on the lower shelves with this nice bright light. I then wrote to Great Eagle to get advice on replacing my freezer bulb as well with the same 60W bulb since I have 3 more of them. Andy wrote back to me right away and it appeared the -4° rating for the bulb would work as the temp in my freezer is -3°. So far, so good. To sum up, these bulbs draw more than 4X less power than the old bulbs, are much brighter, and in theory, should last a lot longer. Great Eagle shipping was quick, the customer service excellent, and the product is as advertised. Very satisfied.

So far so good. I'm pretty happy with these light bulbs so far. I haven't had them for very long, but so far, they're doing their job: replacing a bunch of bulbs around the house. I had a few go at once, so I figured I'd get this 6 pack and have some left over for a rainy day. The light is bright. It looks like daylight, as advertised. You can really tell how yellow or orange other bulbs are when you've got these mixed with other bulbs, so keep that in mind. (You can see the difference in my 2 photos.) The price is cheap, which is right up my alley. At the same time, I wonder if I've sacrificed quality for price, and I wonder how long they'll hold up. For what I needed, I feel I've gotten my money's worth.

We have been using Great Eagle LED bulbs of various wattages since 2019 with no complaints. The bulbs have worked well, with quality and longevity just as good as more expensive brands.

These bulbs do not mess around. At 5000K daylight, they give off a very crisp, clean white light that completely eliminates shadows. There is zero buzzing and no weird warm-up delay when you flip the switch. Just keep in mind that this color temperature is perfect for closets, bathrooms, or workspaces, but it might feel a little too much like a dentist's office if you are trying to use them for a cozy bedroom vibe.

UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: I originally posted this review in November, 2022, having bought the bulbs back in 2019 and being amazed at how long it had been since needing a replacement. I am excited to say that after 6 years of continuous use, we FINALLY have to replace one of the bulbs in the living room! The rest of the bulbs are still going strong and show no signs of needing to be replaced any time soon. Original review: We bought these bulbs 3 years ago, not expecting much from them. We had purchased similar bulbs in the past and they were either not bright enough, didn't last anywhere near as long as advertised, or both. We live in Chicago, so fall and winter days are very short and we often have dark, overcast days during spring and summer thunderstorm season. We also live in a house that have two darkened rooms due to our nextdoor neighbors home. So bright bulbs are mandatory for two people who work from home, especially for someone like me, who is a seamstress/costume maker. I need to have consistent bright light at all times. We were genuinely shocked this morning when we realized that we've not had to change a single bulb in over 3 years. We tested the brightness of a bulb straight out of the box (we bought extra believing we would need to replace within the year) and bulb in a living room lamp that is used daily and is often left on overnight. There was absolutely no difference between the two when measuring with a light meter. These bulbs absolutely live up to the 5 star rating!

I am beyond impressed. Lately with it getting colder and being gloomy outside I started to feel drab. I thought I needed better lighting And wanted a fresh and updated look. I started to research daylight bulbs and figured I would given them a shot, as I seem several posted on DIY pages and blogs. I am so thrilled with these bulbs! My living room is already improved. These bulbs have freshened up the space and put new “light” on things. I should of went with the 3 way bulb however went with a standard 60W to try to make sure I even liked the look. The photo don’t do justice. They are very bright and clean. I will be buying more to replace the all the lights in my home.
