I take this stuff anytime I feel I'm starting to come down with a cold, flu or any other bug. It's worked wonders for me for the past couple of years. Not a single cold or flu and no sore throat! Don't wait until you are already sick to take it, it may help that way, but take it before or at the first signs of illness. I really like this formula as it can be taken on an empty stomach as well as with food. I often take it at bedtime. I have gone to sleep feeling under the weather and expecting the worst only to awaken the next morning, after just two capsules of this formula, feeling fine. I have also been using this along with a good probiotic and find my overall health & well being greatly improved. Do the research on the ingredients - the 1/3,1/4 beta glucan and the colostrum are very safe compounds to boost your immune system and lots of studies and tests support those claims. The Cordyceps stimulates the number of T helper cells, prolongs the survival of lymphocytes, enhances TNF-alpha and interleukin 1 production, and increases the activity of natural killer cells in cultured rat Kupffer cells. The maitake is thought to exert its effects through its ability to activate various effector cells, such as macrophages, natural killer cells, and T cells, as well as interleukin-1 and superoxide anions, but some studies have suggested it's immunostimulation is entirely the result of the maitake mushroom's beta glucan content. Either way lots and lots of studies out there showing the ingredients in this formula work to stimulate your body's immune system to fight off unhealthy bacteria, virus invaders instead of using antibiotics to try and kill the invaders. With antibiotics you kill the good bacteria along with the bad, and run into problems from dysbiosis. There is also the problem of microbes developing antibiotic resistance, so it is far safer and more effective to strengthen your immune system than try to weaken the microbes. There are some other things in the formula such as zinc, vitamin c, vitamin e, noni fruit, astragalus and yes grape fruit seed extract. In my opinion this belongs in every medicine chest. This supplement is amazing. My friend recommend it to get it at whole foods then when they ran out i saw they had them here on amazon. Since then i have not got sick nor my family. Specially during the flu season mostly everyone at work got sick except me. The best part is that they are all natural and vegan. Ive tried emergenC but thats stuff doesn't work and makes my stomach upset due to all the acids and chemicals but these pills are the best completely natural. they work. I take them daily after lunch and I've been healthy since then.

It's not as good as a brand I've used for many years but couldn't find this time. I use it for my teeth and it didn't work as well.

I use this at the first sign of illness and it really helps prevent or fight off sickness! I keep some around all the time!
