I used this to display a really nice sword above my coat of arms - the hanger looks like it was made for the sword - very nice, presents the sword very well!

So these are...decent. there is a lot of wobble there and one thing that isn't stated anywhere is that they are spring loaded. So for me I used these to mount two katanas and with the "hand guard" of the sword they are actually wider than these mounts. However, being spring loaded, these mounts clamp onto the sword and hold it to the wall quite nicely. Would recommend. Probably will buy more.

This is great and I am extremely happy that I grabbed this for my movie replica collection. If you are going to hang yours like I did mine in the photo, I would suggest locating your first hanger location by marking through the bottom mounting hole. You can eye the top hole location. The top hole is a bit tricky, you will have to go in at a very slight angle. Which is not all bad, seeing the added angle only secures the hanger to the wall even better. Once the first hanger is secure, use your sword guard and position the second hanger to your liking. Mark the bottom hole and then take the sword off the hanger, grab your level, and then relocate your hanger to the mark you made and move it up or down until your level reads true. This was the easiest way I could think of and it looks good.

This sword hanger works great for my Union Civil War Cavalry replica Sabre. I wouldn't recommend this for use on a real (expensive) historical piece as the metal can scratch the sheath and exterior. There is a spring loaded mechanism to allow for larger swords to be used with this up to 2 inches away from the wall. Great solution to hang those heavy, cumbersome swords on a wall.

These hangars look great and were easy to install! Now my grandson's William Wallace Claymore looks ever better!

This is a fine way to hang your weapons. Others have mentioned the top screw is hard to get to but I had no problem with a regular Phillips screwdriver, it goes in straight. The price is right also. I just ordered an additional pair for my other swords. I hang them horizontal and they look great. 1/21 One of the hangers broke inside and is not usable. Looks like pot metal. In spite of this, I am ordering another one. I a lowering the stars to 3.

These sword holders look great with my sword. They were easy to install on my wall. Excellent quality.

Looks great. Not too difficult to install but as others have pointed out the top screw is a little tricky to put in because the Celtic design plate gets in the way. I used a smaller screwdriver and got it in without much of a problem.

I do love these and they look great, my only gripe with them is their feature which allows the Celtic symbol to be moved slightly to the side so that you can can properly screw the hanger into the wall doesn't really snap back firmly into a straight upright position. this is something you can only really notice up close so unless your OCD makes your tear it down, it'll still look really nice so not worth loosing a star.
