Tactical USA Flag Patch - Subdued Red White Blue by Gadsden and Culpeper

Pros: Standard patch size. Look good with faded colors. Stitching is well done. Comes with a velcro backing attached to the patch itself.Cons: A little expensive for just an American flag patch, but still worth it.Misc: I peeled the velcro off the back and placed it in the baggy it came in, and slapped this to my plate carrier with ease. Looks great and is normal size. Nothing to complain about. I like that the colors aren't too bright and wont give me away at a distance, but are solid and easy to see through a scope.

This american flag patch is a great way to show you pride in our country. Too many people bash the USA, and take for granted the freedom we have. The patch is unique with the subdued colors and velcro backing makes it easy to place on a hat or backpack. The product arrived on time and is nicer than the photo. It was so nice that I needed to purchase another one. I am pleased with the service from Gadsen and Culpeper.

These patches were some of the most beautiful flag patches we've ever seen! Very good quality, heavy duty and rich looking. I think our only must have request would be that if it's a velcro patch it should come with both the hook and loop of the velcro. The back side of the patch has the hook part of the velcro, but there is nothing to attach it too. Highly recommended, just ensure you get everything you need. Regardless of that, we will definitely order more from this vendor in the future and ensure to double check we get everything we think is needed.

Full color but subdued this flag patch was perfect to go on my 30 year old bomber jacket. It looks like it belongs there. The guy at the leather shop even commented on it. And no one will ever know it covers a hole right there at the center.

(Same as reversed patch)When looking at the pictures for this item labeled "Subdued Red White Blue" I thought it would be a faded american flag. However, the "Blue" is dark (chocolate) brown, "Red" is bronze, "White" is khaki, and the border is a shinier copper color.Color expectation aside, these are high quality patches and they actually look really good. The stitching is solid, the velcro works great and they are sturdy. It looks great on the sleeve of my tan 5.11 jacket and Blackhawk! contractor hat.If the title and picture weren't misleading, this would receive a 5 star review. Great patch.Note: I purchased both the normal and reversed patches, and have the same review for both. The colors are identical.

I've placed a few orders now for patches from 'Gadsden and Culpeper' and can say that their products are awesome. At the end of the day what can you really say about a patch? Yup, it's a patch all right, but these are very good quality, durable, well stiched patches with the 'velcro' hook backing already attached. Shipping was quick. No complaints here! This particular patch is one of my favorites. It has a very rustic, worn look to it. Overall a very nice looking patch.

As a former soldier, I was nervous about how I'd feel about the quality of this patch. I've seen a lot of velcro flags, and some are really crappy, with strings coming out frequently.I'd bought this to use on my service dog's vest, and am very impressed with how well it's standing up. I chose this one in particular because it was going on a coyote-brown vest, and this is a copperish subdued patch which worked out very well with that. This is not a traditional military subdued flag, though, if that's what you're looking for.This has held up well through a 70-lb dog wearing it on her vest more or less daily, and plenty of stress, strain and dirt.Definitely recommend, as long as you don't need a traditional subdued flag.

The color is perfect and the patch is well made.
