The product was more for protection against the accidents while skating.Protective pad protected for 4 years and that’s was good enough with reasonable price.Would I recommend the product “no” do not waste money when children grow fast? When children chooses no interest on physical activities.

We got these to go along with our daughter’s Bladerunner roller blades, which she loves. These are pink, so it’s already a winner with her. Easy to put on. Light weight. Some people say these are cheap and flimsy. Yeah, maybe they are, but these are going on kids who way 40-70 pounds maybe. They don’t need to be made the same way as ones for adults. Even if they fall apart after 1-2 crashes, I know they’ll do their job in protecting my kid and I don’t care if I’m out 10 bucks. I’ll buy another set if it happens.

Everything looks good with each pad. I chose these, instead of the many others available, because of the size and width of the velcro and the padding, which the padding looks as adequate as any of the others offered.My grand daughter hasn't tried them on yet so I can't comment on the fit. I do however like the feel of the plastic. It isn't super hard and has a little give which I think will be better vervus hard plastic. I bought them to eliminate skin abrasions not from breaks. I don't think any of the other ones would help with breaks either, if that's what you're going for.

I bought my four-year-old girls some skates a while back and these have absolutely saved them from broken bones and horrible scrapes. Basically, my girls suck at skating and fall all the time. I don't even want to think about what would have happened without these. One time one of the knee pads got out of place and just ONE FALL one of them scraped her knee and it was apparently the end of the world. So these are lifesavers. They stay on just fine on a four year old.

The ONLY reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the obviously cheap construction. Extremely happy with this purchase because I bought these thinking the wrist bands were a bonus. Whoa was I wrong. First time on the bike she falls off. Hits the concrete. Not a scratch on her. Landed on 4 surfaces of protection by these pads: hand, wrist, knee, and knee.One size fits most leaving room to grow, but the wrist bands appear to be for a girl much larger than 5 where the thumb goes through the hole. She managed though.

I chose these cause they seemed to be the smallest set for my one year old. They are an ok product. A little hard and not so comfortable but they serve the purpose so far. Don't really know how much protection they will give. It seems she may hurt herself more from wearing them than not cause they are so hard. Hopefully we will never find out.
