Great build quality, fit and finish
Good build quality and comfort. Light wind noise below 50mph but when you hit the highway there is a lot of wind noise. For the price this is a really good helmet and I found the fit to be true to size. This is my 2nd purchase of the same helmet, one for my wife and one for me.

Super comfortable. I like it better than the more expensive Bell helmets.

Very pleased so far
I was wary about trying out an unrated new helmet, but I've been very pleased with this so far. Lots of motorcycle sites have reviewed the helmet and had positive things to say, so I went for it. I thought sizing was pretty accurate, but it may run a little tight. I was at the lower end of the Large Helmet size range. I haven't worn the qualifier long enough to have it really be broken in to my head. Helmet is light, fits well, very little or no buffeting at high speed (75+) so the aerodynamics seem to be dialed in well. I can't tell if there is wind noise because my bike has straight pipes and is very loud by itself. There is a lot of space around the ears inside the helmet to allow for speakers, so I don't feel that there is much sound deadening. This could be positive or negative depending on your perspective, for a guy with a loud bike like mine, I wish it was a bit quieter in there. If I had to complain, the shell seems to be a bit on the large side, thought not comically large. There is also a significant gap between my chin, and the helmet chin, meaning that there is a lot of airflow over my face, even with the vents closed. This is probably going to be great in the hotter months, but this early in spring, it felt a bit cool. I hope Bell releases some sort of clip on chin piece/breath box for the qualifier to reduce this, otherwise you'll want a balaclava or other wind protection on cool days. As for the person who complained about the lack of tinted shield, they said themselves that all other helmets show tinted, but come with clear. I'm unsure why they assumed this helmet would be different. I bought the dark smoke visor separately and it looks great with the matte black. For the price, I think this is a great helmet. The looks, especially with the *optional* dark smoke shield, are great, and the build quality and materials seem to be fantastic for an entry level helmet.

Well made comfortable and safe helmet.
Great Helmet, comfortable to wear, even on long rides. And Bell is a helmet that he as been around for a long time. Well made and looks great. Last but not least, the price of this name brand , well made and comfortable helmet is very reasonable.

Reasonable price; fits like a dream
First of all, we riders all know that motorcycle helmets can run a wide range of costs, and (intuitively) 'you get what you pay for,' right? With that being said, I wanted a helmet with a reasonable price (under $200), one that was a trusted 'name brand,' one that was at least DOT (--but not necessarily SNELL) certified, and most of all, one that FIT my gargantuan head. (I'm a big guy, 6'4", 250 lbs.). I've owned 3-4 full face helmets, including my most recent, a HJC that was a Size 2XL, that fit snugly, just right. Nevertheless, I measured the widest part of my head, at the forehead, and chose a Bell Qualifier DLX full-face Blackout helmet, from Amazon. According to the dropdown box for sizing, I required 2XL (same as my HJC), which happened to be the largest size available for this helmet. Fine, I ordered it. It arrived (I'm an Amazon Prime member) three days later. But, unfortunately, I was disappointed that the 2XL simply did not fit my head--WAY too small. It wouldn't even fit over my ears for my head to get all the way inside. My next move was to check out similar helmets, like this Bell Qualifier--which was available in THREE-XL. Lo-and-behold, this helmet (in 3XL) turned out to be absolutely PERFECT! It fits on my head, and is the perfect 'snugness': not too tight and not too loose (if I 'shake my head around', the helmet doesn't move around my head at all). I get a feeling of my head being well-protected. It's not the most expensive helmet on the market, but it's not a 'cheapie' either. It's DOT certified, a name brand and, most of all, it fits like a dream! The lesson learned is that different helmet manufacturers have different sizings. Hopefully, it doesn't boil down to 'trial and error' as it did for me, in this case. Nevertheless, all I can do is submit this review that my Bell helmet is excellent. And if you need a 2XL (or whatever size), with a price that won't 'break the bank', and you're considering a helmet made by Bell, order 'one size larger' than what it seems you'll need --and you won't be disappointed. My experience in this case was a slight bit of trouble (having to return the first helmet, which was a 'free return'), but it was worth it in the end. I got a good looking, good performing, name brand helmet at a reasonable price. Happy riding!

Great helmet. Buy it.
Great helmet. I got a large and it is snug, but I wore it a few times and I like the fit. No extra room. Still have road noise but not as bad as my cheaper helmet. Great range of movement. I laid down my bike at slow speed and hit my head on the ground. It was like I was wearing a pillow on my head. Worth the money and I highly recommend.

Ok, not great
Very tight fit. Not the quietest helmet. Ok for the price but probably wouldn't buy again.

Having had helmets from many manufactures, Bell ranks in the top three. The quality and fit are excellent! The reasonable cost makes it an excellent product given the safety features, quality and fit.
