THE BASE IS BROWN NOT BLACK
Excessive glue on top looks ugly. The packaging was also really annoying to unwrap and is counter intuitive. The plastic doesn't rip and is wrapped around the lamp shade..... So you either have to cut it off or slowly take it apart. And the photos were a bit misleading because the base is very brown and not black.

Perfect desk lamp
I’ve been working on updating and cleaning out and organizing my home office. I have a huge double desk, and as much as I love my little horse lamp, I definitely needed another. I was looking for something that would coordinate with this unusual lamp, but also complement it. This one is perfect! It blends with most any decor and puts off a lot of light so it’s functional. It’s really exactly what I needed.

Proud purchase!!
I had been shopping around for new bedside lamps and I knew I wanted something like these. When I found these I was a little skeptical, because the price was so reasonable. I went ahead and ordered them and they arrived exactly when they were supposed to, they were so easy to assemble and they are beautiful. This was a great purchase!!

Great value
Extreme impressed for $12. Lamp hardware is metal, came with an Edison style bulb, and the base seems to be real wood or at least very high quality MDF. Feels sturdy.My one con is that the power switch is on the cord instead of on the lamp itself. This is a huge annoyance for me but for the price it's a compromise I'm willing to make.
