So glad I got another one!
Awesome yoga mat! Used to have a gray colored one but I let a family member have it since it was so nice. But that only cleared the way for me to get a pink one! This mat is thicker than the others and does not hurt my back or my knees when I do poses on it. Once laid on the floor it does not move at all and the addition of the carrying strap it makes it so easy to fold and carry it. It does have a slight rubber smell when you unwrap it but as you leave it out and use it the smell does start to fade away.

A great size, very cushiony, and versatile
I bought this mat to use in my beginning yoga class. As soon as my boyfriend saw it and felt how plush it was, he said "That would be great to use as a pad under a sleeping bag when I go camping at the lake". I reminded him he would need to get one of his own because this is for yoga class. (It's also too hot to go camping right now.) He was right about the padding being a good thickness to cradle you and I appreciate this during savasana and when doing seated poses without a bolster. It's long enough to stretch out on, wide enough to feel comfortable when moving from a front-facing pose to a side-facing pose but you can roll it up, put the Velcro straps on it and put it in a closet or under the bed to get it out of the way and it doesn't take up too much room. The strap between the Velcro ones gives you something to hang onto to carry your mat but you might want something more colorful like a bag to put it in and that gives you someplace to put your socks as well. The surfaces have an anti-slip coating and this is helpful when starting out as a yogini in a sweat-inducing climate like this one. At this point, the stickiness takes some getting used to but, if that's the case for you too, you can always wear yoga socks. There are lots of cute one out there and you won't lose any of your stability.I can't speak to the durability yet because I just started using it but the edges look well made and I don't see any gaps so I don't think they will separate. I plan to keep it out of the sun and heat so there shouldn't be any problem with the material cracking.I got the grey one because Amazon had it in stock, it was going to ship the earliest, and I wouldn't have to worry about dirt. Then I bought one black block and one fuchsia block and my yoga strap is two tones of Army green so now I'm wondering if I would have preferred a pink or purple mat instead. Or even a black one. Amazon has a good return policy on these and I have until July 4th to change my mind and the mat does come in all those colors. In any case, my indecision over my choice of colors in no way detracts from my opinion of this mat which so far I highly recommend.

From a Non-Yoga enthusiast
The first time I bought a Yoga mat, I plucked it out of the bin from either Ross or TJ Maxx. Then, I decided it wasn't for me and I sold the mat. So, I wouldn't know how to pick a good mat if I fell over it. I came here and purchased this one from the reviews. Again, I'm not a die-hard Yoga-er? Yogi? So I'm probably not giving it the "workout" it needs, but here's a few things I noticed. When I unrolled it, it was nice and tight from it's position. I had to lay it out, then lay on it to get it flat and ready to use. My dog was amused by this, but I'm not sure it counts as a position. It does dent. I've seen where others tear, but so far, mine hasn't yet. But dents? Yes. I can see this as more of a "when" rather than "if." The foam is soft-- it's bound to happen at some point. No noise noted. No squeaking or shifting, or "fart" noises. You can go about your routine in peace.I did notice a smell on my hands after. At first, I wasn't sure what it was, but it was latex-esque or plastic like. I didn't notice this during, but I did smell it after. To me, it's squishy and comfortable. Like I said , I briefly used it as a make-shift cot prior to it's official use, and I thought it was fine. Didn't move, and for what it is, I thought it was pretty thick.I Love the strap, I love the color, it'll do for now. Until it falls apart, I'm happy with it.

Good Thick Yoga Mat
I purchased this specifically for the thickness and it is a quality product.Good stability and traction, perfect for ab exercises. As a yoga mat, you may prefer a traditional thinner option but I feel this is still adequate for most people.Color is good, simple to clean. It will leave marks easily however.Good mat, durable, easy to transport or store

Not a cheap material
Great Matt is thick so that is what I was looking for and I love it. It does come with a handle so you can fold them up and it won’t just be all over the place but overall great purchase to get.!

Terrible customer service
The mat is OK, there are others that are better. Just be aware that if you have to return this, there will be a restocking fee. I received this with a torn plastic sheet covering it and the box was damaged. I returned it and they stated that I had damaged in my return and wouldn't refund me the entire amount since it was my fault. I would steer clear of them if you need a mat that doesn't meet your expectations.

Sturdy, comfy, and pink!
Safe on joints and gives excellent cushion to protect from a hard floor! The pink is so pretty, and it holds well even on the worst floors. Haven't experienced any peeling or ripping and I use it on old unfinished wood floors, so definitely a great option!

Ottimo
Spessore del tappetino superiore a quelli classici sottili, faccio yoga e mentre gli altri mettono sotto un cuscino a me già va bene così, quindi consigliatissimo

Exercise mat
Love it never used to worry about having a mat when I do my exercises for my back . It is absolutely so much better with it.

This is a brilliant mat. Thick enough to stop any pain on the back when lying down, but stable enough to stand on and do exercises such as burpees and push ups and balancing exercises. It's just pretty big if you want to transport it anywhere but that is what you get for added comfort! The carry strap is really handy too!

The Mat to Match Your Yoga Maven's Dreams
Knowing nothing about a gift I buy is not my way. So I researched yoga mats endlessly online before discovering Balance. Material seems tops for support, comfort, and durability, and the purple met the recipient's desire. Thick, made of non-toxic synthetics, and supplied with tying and carrying bands, the mat filled my bill and her notion of a yoga mat. With a warranty of unusual length per buck spent, this is grand stuff. Select the set of 5 exercise bands, and you get a good carry bag for them, plus a useful download of strengthening and agility-increasing tools. It seemed a Best Buy, so far as I could determine and is one so far as my Other Half reports. When it heads to Yoga Heaven one day, its clone will be ordered from Amazon Prime. We ain't chicken livers, you know.
