They work.
No use boring with the details because if you are here you are having a problem of your own. For my part, these extractors and a new 4 dollar screw saved me a tow to the car dealership to fix a boogered screw. I had tried everything else. These worked. Zero complaints.

does not hold up
the smallest bit stripped out on the first try. It did remove the screw, but its a 1 and done set.
