EMT-Basic: Pearls Of Wisdom (Pearls of Wisdom (Jones and Bartlett)) 2nd Edition

I used this book to prepare for my three year recert exam. I would recommend the book for someone like myself that is still learning and needs to distill the critical points.

Question and answer based study guide. Great for the price I paid. I would have been disappointed at full price.

This book reminded me of a few points I hadn't reviewed/recalled. Had I known more about the content, I would not have purchased this book. Here are my recommendations for review manuals:1. EMT-B National Standards Self-Test by Charley D. Miller (wasn't available through Amazon, had to go to B&N)2. Success for the EMT (I bought the 2nd edition, from Amazon) by Joseph J. Mistovich and Edward B. KuvleskyAlso, regarding textbooks, my class used EMT Complete - A Basic Worktext by Limmer / Le Baudour. I ended up buying my own copy of Mistovich's PreHospital Emergency Care. I found it to by more complete than the other textbook, and my best review tool for the national test. (I only bought the 'Pearls' book because I ran out of time to read the entire Mistovich textbook prior to the test and thought it might help me last minute.)
