Best powder foundation for women 30<, but great for younger women too!!!
Amazing foundation for women +40. Doesn’t settle in your fine lines, and has buildable coverage without looking cakey. The shades might be a tad darker than it shows in the ads, so you might want to go with a shade lighter than you would normally wear…. As I said, it’s easy to build up the coverage, so with more layers, it gets a little darker, which is why I would recommend going with a shade lighter than you would normally get. I’m a medium, and the medium gets too dark for me after two or three applications…. With a lighter tone, it’s easier to blend into a darker shade, if you need to. But if it’s too dark to begin with, it might be harder to tone it down…. Overall, I love this company. I’m not a heavy makeup user, and usually apply it once or twice a week , if I’m going out. So this is perfect for me, bc I prefer the natural look as opposed to the glamour makeup look that seems to be so popular now…. I don’t have the time or patience for contouring and highlighting, or baking and airbrushing… this stuff simply covers up redness and slight blemishes with one sweep of the brush, and gives a fuller coverage with each layer, without giving that cakey look that liquid foundations are so famous for. (And the reason I’m TERRIFIED of wearing makeup in general…. 😫Base lines😫) As I said, I only wear makeup 2-3 times a week, and I bought this compact 3 months ago. Regardless of how often you use it, I can guarantee it will still last longer than most powder foundations you’ve used in the past. And it feels lightweight and breathable…. Try it and you won’t be disappointed!!

Excellent Lightweight Foundation - Excellent Coverage
I was skeptical purchasing this type of foundation. I find many foundations are either too heavy, don’t cover as I wanted, or the color is off.I bought the Laura Gellar baked foundation with high hopes. I wasn’t disappointed. Not only was the shade I chose, perfect, it went on flawlessly. Buildable coverage if needed. Goes on very well with a kabuki brush, which I already had. It feels almost like I’m wearing nothing in my face, yet I see the remarkable results. I used this over the spackle cream, which also was lightweight, barely felt as if I was wearing it. Between both of these products, I got the result I wanted. Sheer coverage, lightweight, and excellent light coverage, with no signs of it settling into creases. As a more mature lady, I would definitely recommend.

NOT Full Coverage
First pic is all naturalSecond pic is the FAIR on top of primer.I made several passes with my kabuki brush b/c it said it was buildable. I also used a denser brush to cover better.I have been wanting to try her brand for a while. I see the ads everywhere and I was curious. The only reason I finally got it is b/c it was on sale and had a coupon. I got it for about $20. I think that's a fair price.Overall- I liked it b/c it did not settle into my eye or lip lines. This has been a major issue for me lately (I'm pushing 60). This is supposed to be geared more for mature skin. I agree that it did better than my liquid for making my lines & wrinkles worse.I know it's not a full coverage, but honestly, I though it would cover my freckles & age spots a little better, especially after using primer. I used it 1st w/o primer and it just looked like pressed powder, there was NO coverage.I am glad I tried it, it is enough coverage for everyday as I am not a big makeup person. This would NOT be my go-to foundation for a special event though. I like more coverage for those events. But it is enough to go to the grocery store & run errands.I also feel like it is kinda messy. I had to put a towel on my black granite countertop b/c the powder does go everywhere, especially using a kabuki brush.Overall- it did not look as great on my as it does in all the ads & videos I see out there. I did not get the "magic feeling" I though I would get, but it is good enough for very basic coverage.

Lightweight, natural finish that covers flaws!
I really love this foundation! I am 45 years old and i was looking for something a little easier and quicker to put on than liquid foundation and gentler for my easily irritated rosacea skin. I use a kabuki brush that i already had. This applies and stays really well over just a moisturizer. It melts into my skin unlike any other powder foundation that I have tried and it really does color correct some dark spots and scars I have from acne and age. It also does not emphasize my peach fuzz which is an issue for most powder products that I use and it wears really well throughout the day. I actually like it even better as my oils come through later in the day. I do have hotflashes and it survives sweating fairly well, better than other powder products and better than a lot of my liquid foundations. My only complaint is the shade range. I have very fair olive skin. My best liquid foundation matches are Revlon colorstay in Buff and About-face the Performer in F2Olive. I first got the porcelain because I would prefer a foundation to be lighter rather than too dark and orange. The porcelain was a bit too light and too pink but I wanted to make it work, so I ended up buying fair in addition to porcelain and I mix them which is a perfect match! I got them at 51% off so I'm not too upset about it especially since the formula is so amazing! I hope this is helpful!
