Denso 471-1293 A/C Compressor

First time doing an air conditioning job and needed this to work without a hitch and it delivered. Have had it for months now through a really hot summer and it's worked flawlessly. DENSO is the way to go. A little pricier but well worth it.

Fit perfectly not a reman unit. Price was great, oem quality. Install wasn’t too bad. I did add oil to it because I drained out the whole system while installing. There is a slight confusion on these some come pre oiled some are dry. I like to add pag oil just incase it is dry. Since i drain out the whole system and replace drier might as well add oil.

Needed to replace the original compressor on my E430. Install went without a problem. Vacuum test showed no leaks and the recharge after the replacement got our Benz nice and cool just like it should be. Great compressor.

I ordered this as a replacement for my Tacoma's 1GR-FE, which needs an A/C compressor to keep tension on the serpentine belt. The compressor arrived, and looked good, except that the box had a number beginning with an "R" written with a permanent marker on the packing tape. After I had the compressor installed, it made a grinding noise when the clutch was engaged. I then had to de-install the compressor, and order a new one from another supplier, and have it installed so that I could use my truck. While trying to work through Amazon's CS for a refund, they initially put me in touch with Delphi Customer Service. Delphi's CS rep informed me that this situation comes up, and the Customer Service needs to be handled through Amazon, and she transferred my call. I am now waiting for the compressor to be picked up and returned.

I just applied my new DENSO A/C compressor, DENSO expansion valve and URO dryer 3 days ago in my mercedes ML 430 model 2000....They all fit perfectly in less than 2 hour labour time...they work well thank god...my ac is renewed and for nice total price.....I believe that the cooling is 80% like the old original part but I hope I might be mistaken and have to test it for longer, anyhow, Denso is the original part in my car so, that new denso ac should work as the the old one !!!! But again I still have time to test it more before judging. Nice work Denso, nice work URO, nice work AMAZON.

I bought this for my 2000 C230. It is what the manufacturer use. It works well. Worth pay the extra money.

Fits perfectly. No need to add oil. Just install.. directions will tell you to drain the oil from the old compressor and blah blah blah. Inside the compressor. It comes with enough oil to cover the entire AC system. It basically wants you to take out the old compressor flip it upside down and see how much drains out of it and however much drains out of it that's how much you drain out of the new compressor but if your system was already leaking what difference does that make so it's best just to install the compressor if nothing comes out especially. I've never seen a time and hurt anything and I've done hundreds.

I knew that it doesn't come with O-rings by reading the reviews here. I couldn't not figure out if it comes with oil. Some says yes while some says no. It actually comes with oil. However, I did not know it until I heard back from the customer service. However, it's too late. I overfilled the compressor already. I had to get some oil out and recharge the refrigerant. The instructions are too poorly written. The instructions don't seem to be for this model. One needs to remove the plug next to the clutch engaging wire connector in order to pour the oil out. One can't get any oil out from the low pressure or high pressure connector.
