Very good blender
Blends very well, very pleased with that. Blade is not allowed under water so tricky to get properly clean.

nightmare to clean the blade
great blender. I purchased from robery dyers. was on sale for £16.which is about right to me. it blends really well. the only downside is the blades. they are not easy to clean. you cant submerge it in water. which is teerible! I have to use tissue and cotton buds to clean out all the grooves and little hard to get to places around the fixed blades. which seem to be plated.this is actually a really big floor in design. absolutly tedious to use daily. if you could submerge and quickly clean the blades, or have the blades removable for easy cleaning, then this would be perfect.unfortunately I will be searching for a different make and model. one thats easier to clean.I'd be livid if I paid full price for this, £60?! never.

Great blender, very powerful motor, grinds coffee beans and goes in the dishwasher with no problem.
I bought mine from Robert Dyas in November 2020. I chose it because it has a 1200W motor - much more powerful than most blenders of this type. The price was really good too, about £35, I think. The instructions said you can't use it to grind coffee beans. Well, I disagree. For a start, I've paid for it, it's mine, and if I want to try and grind nails up in it, then I can (not that I want to). So don't tell me I can't use it for coffee beans. Unsurprisingly, it grinds coffee beans with no problem whatsoever. I use the smaller cup, which has gone a bit tarnished from the friction of the coffee beans, but I don't mind that, it grinds the beans to a nice fine powder in seconds. The instructions also said you can't put the blade and cups in the dishwasher. Nonsense! I run them through the dishwasher all the time, with no adverse reaction. Because of the shape of the blade part, you have to air-dry it afterwards, because one or other side of it will still be wet - that's unavoidable, it's just the way it's shaped. The one thing you absolutely can't do in it is blend hot liquids, as the heat creates a vacuum and when you unscrew it, the hot liquid can go everywhere, which is obviously dangerous. So when I make soup, I let it cool down in the pot before blending it into a smooth soup in the Salter blender. It does this really well, particularly with butternut squash soup, which comes out silky smooth.Anyway, I've used it for nearly two years, ignoring the instructions about coffee beans and dishwasher, and I've not ruined it yet, it's working as well as the day I bought it.

Not great
We had quite a few leaks from this blender. I think it's because when the blade spins it causes it to untighten. Due to that it now smells pretty bad (off milk) when it runs... Not great first thing in the morning! That said we do use it daily and it's powerful (and quite loud as a result). Think I'll bite the nutri-bullet next time.
