We moved into a new build with horrible plasterboard walls and were warned that due to how the wiring and plumbing was done, there were parts where we couldn't drill into.Someone suggested velcro, to which initially I scoffed, remembering it being that thing on clothes and bags that surely wasn't going to hold up anything heavy.I was completely wrong, we have managed to use this everywhere in our home, from small picture frames to a full length (6ft+) mirror and even a rug! One of the best inventions out there!Just one small comment - one side of the velcro is longer than the other, about a foot of it at the end of the box gets left over, which you really can't use for anything other than keeping it spare.Notes:1 - the adhesive is very strong, once on, you'll not be able to adjust the positioning, so measure and align properly to get this right first time.2 - the adhesiveness on the wall side is dependent on the quality of the finish, we have really thin paint on plasterboard and it seems to attach fine (the paint does come off when you take the velcro off - have some spare paint ready)3 - avoid using above radiators or near the oven/kitchen where it gets hot, for the most part the velcro hasn't moved, but some has come loose due to the heat4 - when attaching to things like rugs, I'd recommend stitching the velcro in, the backing of the rugs doesn't really provide a good surface for adhesion, ours had stayed up for about 2 months before the weight of the rug meant it started sagging.

I’ve tried everything to get my large pinboard up as we can’t tack nails in the walls crumble (we live in a beautiful old listed building) tried all the other tapes no nails etc spent a fortune and they all fell down so as last resort I searched on Amazon and found this. Wasn’t expecting much as I use Velcro for sewing but wow this Is SO STRONG! I cut the tape through the width to make thinner strips and used the roll on this board put it up it, stuck straight away and then I stood back and realised it was wonky as our wall is! Tried to pull it off and it was really so hard to get off took all my strength and a lot of shouting and I hadn’t even pressed it down at that point! Anyway it came off and took some paint off with it I but was able to quickly reposition it. Brilliant stuff will be using all round the house now!

UPDATE: ok, NOPE! So it kept my photo album up (although I did have to reput it up once, it is still on the wall though, so that’s good) but, my 2 canvases fell off once or twice each! It didn’t keep up my small whiteboard, maybe because the whiteboard is a bit heavier? But, it’s the same weight as my photo album and even that and the canvases fell down! I’ve used the whole thing up now, and not going to buy another so I gave up and used nails instead to hang up both my canvases and the whiteboard. These stickers also leave a mark on your wall paint when pulling them off and can be a right bugger to get of them! I won’t buy these again.These are great for hanging up stuff, I have a photo frame up, 2 canvases & a white board. Bare in mind I haven’t tried it with anything heavier than a white board. The stickiness is really strong, my whiteboard has only fallen down once - which I just stuck back up again a few weeks ago and it hasn’t budged. Maybe I didn’t put enough on, it is easy to use. The only con really, is that it can be quite hard to get off the wall. When my whiteboard fell down I had to pull hard on the ones stuck on the wall - it took the paint off too. Overall - I will buy these again and always use them to hang stuff like that on the wall.

These are great and seems to hold really well. We used them to stick down the loose tent fabric in our family tent. The bottom of each room section wasn't attached to the built in groundsheet and our little girl used to sit and lift it up when she was supposed to be sleeping (like a very amusing but exhausting game). Our eldest struggled to do the zip on her room as the fabric wasn't held at the bottom. We used these to attach the tent fabric to the groundsheet in 3 places on each of the room dividers and we've been camping several times since. It still holds fast, it looks great and has completed solved the problem. I'm really impressed and will buy more.

I was looking forward to using these having read the many positive reviews, however when I opened up the box I was disappointed. Two are unusable after being carelessly placed inside and have stuck to the box (with no way to separate the sticky back from the cardboard packaging). I have used the other four disks and they work well and do hold their place whether stuck to metal or plastic. Overall - 6/10.
