Good start, might also get a bigger one
These cut way cleaner and crisper than modern drugstore specials, which have been tearing my nails lately. They arrived today so I can't give a full review. People are saying they're small, but of course no pictures include hands for scale, so here you go. Covers about half of my thumbnail (medium sized hands, or smaller if you're a guy). I do wish it was just a little bit bigger, but I was already using one roughly the size. The one thing I noticed is that because it takes maybe 3 clips to remove the thumbnail, the catcher isn't as effective at catching a nail that's much bigger than the opening.

Good design, poor quality control
I ordered this product after trying the toenail clipper and loving it. The fingernail clipper I received was junk in comparison due to poor quality control. There are pros and cons The clippers are well designed. They require less force to use due to the lever design and the grooves in the level allow for easier handling and less finger slippage. They come with convenient nail catchers that have a metal file embedded into them. This file is the best file I’ve ever used. It removes material like a coarse file but leaves a smooth edge like a fine file. I have no idea how this is possible, but kudos to Seki for that. Now, the bad. These clippers would be a solid 9/10 if the quality control was better. The first seki product I ordered was their toenail clipper. It worked amazingly, it would slice through nails effortlessly, leaving an smooth edge. I decided to purchase the fingernail version, and I was disappointed when I heard it crunch through my nail like a dollar store clipper, leaving a rough edge. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the blades on the fingernail clipper were misaligned to a noticeable degree compared to the toenail version. I believe this is why the blades were not slicing through as intended. Moreover, these clippers will rust even if you don’t get a lemon. This is down to the type of steel they use, which is great for holding a sharp edge but isn’t as rust resistant as stainless steel. This is just a cosmetic complaint as they seem to perform the same with or without rust, but something to be wary of if you live in a more humid climate like myself. If it bothers you, it can probably be removed with some polish. Overall, I would not recommend you buy these. They are a great product IF you manage to receive a good one. But if you invest money into these clippers there’s a random chance that you will receive a piece of junk. Given some of the other reviews on here I would say I’m not the only one. To charge that much for some nail clippers, there should be at least some minimal quality control. It’s a shame too, because these clippers are really great if you receive a decent set. Best Nail Clippers I Have Ever Used!
I usually try to make the small, everyday things in life as enjoyable and efficient as possible. I've neglected a better nail care solution for years, never really paying attention to it. I have nail clippers - from CVS or something - they work fine. Why try to fix it? My parents had been sharing a pair of nail clippers for years. So for Christmas this year, I purchased these for my father. He loved them. So I tried them out, and wow, these are amazing. They make the process that much better - easier to handle clippers, cleaner cuts, and a nifty little cover that captures all your clippings. Seeing as I clip my nails every 7-10 days or so, how could I not buy these for myself?! I bought these fingernail clippers, and the matching toenail clippers. They are very reasonably priced and I am very happy with them. Order yourself a pair, and unless you are some kind of crazy nail clipper collector, I promise you'll be more than pleased.

High quality, flawless clipping collection. File could stand to be larger.
I have not used a clipper with a nail catcher before, though I had often though someone should invent one. Of course, it's been out there for years. I like it! Sometimes the catcher is in the way if you need get something in a tight spot. But you can always slide it off. The file is sharp and high quality but quite small on this model. It probably works great with some practice, but I'm not sure I'll be using it if an emery board is handy.

Will never buy a cheap nail clipper again
These are the most amazing fingernail clippers ever. I was a little hesitant to spend the extra money on these versus the usual cheap nail clippers I get at Wal-mart but after reading other reviews I decided to go for it and I'm glad I did. The problem I always had with the cheap nail clippers is that one side of the clippers or the other was always dull and wouldn't clip the nails well. I was always trying to maneuver them into different positions to get a clean cut. Also, my nails were always a bit rough for the first 12-24 hrs after cutting my nails. Not with the Seki clippers. The Seki clippers are very sharp, clip the nails effortlessly and leave them smooth. These may cost more than the standard nail clipper but they're worth every penny! The only thing I didn't like about this product was the clipping catcher device, but I don't like those on any clippers. Not a big deal, I just pulled it off and through it away. The fingernail file is part of the clipping catcher though so be aware of that if that's important to you. Like I said though, they leave my nails very smooth anyway so the file is unnecessary anyway.

Better than drugstore brands
I keep my nails short and neat. Unfortunately, clipping them is near torture because they are wide, somewhat flat and naturally strong, making it hard to get a clean cut. Although this clipper still isn't wide enough to clip my nails with one cut (which probably isn't a good idea anyway since my nail beds are also short), I can easily and quickly make two to three cuts from corner to corner on each nail without worrying about the results. Cheaper clippers are very hit and miss in terms of sharpness and usually have a sweet spot that clips just fine while the rest of the blade ends up bending, tearing or partially piercing the nail. (Eek!) When I use these Seki clippers, I never feel like they are bending the nail before cutting through. I never have to re-clip a section of nail, and the clipped nails edges are never ragged. I haven't used the file--the only thing worse than clipping my nails would be the sensation and sound of filing them--so I can't comment on that. The clipping catcher isn't particularly useful unless you're clipping at the right angle so everything falls inside, and I actually find that it compresses the clipper a bit to the point that the lever jiggles and feels loose when you flip it around for use. This does not affect the performance of the clipper however. (Sliding the clipping catcher off does take care of the jiggly lever though.) The lever is still easy to press, has the right amount of resistance and makes a satisfying click when clipping the nail. I'm glad I splurged a bit and opted for these over another pair of $3 drugstore clippers.

Cuts Clean and is Sharp
Sharp and small. Not too big, great for trimming fingernails. Cuts clean. I threw the plastic cover / nail catcher out. To much of a pain to use, I just use a separate mail file because the one that's included is built into the cover.

Great fingernail clippers!
Great fingernail clippers! Our family now has three sets as well as Seki toenail clippers. We tried for about 15 years to find clippers that we liked, and these were the ones we settled on. Good points about them: • The holder is really nice. Very sturdy. It catches the fingernails so you can empty them afterwards. That was a key point I was looking for, and this does it well. • The built-in file at the bottom of the clippers is very good at smoothing fingernails. • The clipper width is slightly smaller than others I've used. That might seem like a drawback, but we find that it makes clipping nails much easier. It's easier to shape the fingernails. Not-so-great point about them: • I've used clippers that leave my fingernails smoother afterwards than these clippers do. It's not bad; just not the best I've used. I briefly use a file afterwards, so it's not a major drawback. The positives about the clipper far outweigh this issue, I think.

Bene
Taglia molto bene, la plastica volendo aumenta la leva per poter premere con meno forza e ne migliora un pò l'impugnatura.

Buy once, try to get on sale to avoid scalping prices!
This brand makes fantastic high quality products and these clippers are no different. Unfortunately the pricing here appears to be high, taking advantage of these being hard to obtain outside Japan.

Best Nail Clipper Ever
This is better than all those 20, 50 or 500 INR clippers. Pros: It is handcrafted. The attention to detail is noticeable. The edges are very sharp. Cuts very precisely. I can even cut the nail halfway through its thickness, Haha. Nail Filer is also very good. Cons: I think none.
