After getting thick film off the past was nice

This product is oil paint. So don’t expect it to dry to the touch for several days. It is very thick (almost dry) which is good for stenciling. When it first arrives, use an exacto knife to remove the dry shell on the top of the paint. It works very well and blends nicely. Have fun.

Cream paint is easy to use when stenciling small areas. You have more control and less leakage under the stencil. Love them. Wish there were more colors

These paints are great! They do take a long time to dry, but the results are amazing. I don't think people realize that there is a removable layer on the top of each color. The best way I have found to remove it is to use some pointed tweezers around the outside edge and try to pick or peel it out/off. Then swirl the stencil brush around to get the creamy texture. Be sure to unload the extra paint on a paper towel and apply the paint holding the brush completely vertical and use a dotting or tapping method.

Product is too dried out to use, buy acrylic paint instead.

The media could not be loaded.  Spent days refinishing a new mirror for my bathroom The finishing touch was to add stenciled sea life. The application was fairly simple. The problem is that it will not dry. After 30 plus hours it is still wet. I contacted Plaid, the makers of Folk Art Stencil Creme. Her first question was to determine if the surface of the wood was sealed. When I said yes she stated that it could take weeks to cure. That information is NOT in the product description or is it on the packaging in the directions. I never would have applied it to my lovely chalk painted and glazed project. I have over $130.00 in the mirror plus my days of work. I’m furious!

It did a good job just wish it came in individual colors & a larger size. It does take a Day or more for it to dry
