Saved my relationship
I don't write reviews but for this book I did. What most stood out to me about this workbook is that it completely understood my struggle and dilemma. I appreciated its honesty. After going through this book, I have completely changed how I think and go about my romantic relationship, which I was near to losing due to unchanged behaviors. I owe a lot to the authors of these books. If you are having countless fights with your partner and have many negative thoughts that interfere with your happiness, this is your book.

Effective, Clear, & Helpful Workbook for Those Struggling In Relationships
If you struggle with the same old relationship issues over and over, I definitely recommend purchasing this workbook! I am a licensed therapist and I use this workbook both with my clients and for myself. I have actually seen an improvement in my interpersonal skills, as I am able to be mindful of the maladaptive schemas I have adopted, which subsequently led to my changing some of my behaviors that kept me feeling "stuck." As a therapist, I go through a lot of psychology and self-help books. I definitely like the format of this workbook a lot better than many others, as the chapters are short and easy to understand and the activities are relevant and insightful. Highly recommend!

Very useful workbook. Some exercises might not work for everyone, depending on level of functioning, but they are easily modified.

Awesome read!
I use this book during my therapy sessions and in my free time. It has helped me with self reflection and in combination with my therapist and prayer to God has shun a light of hope into my darkness.This book requires application/work in order to see improvement. A serious commitment to thy self to improve and to become a better version of yourself than yesterday.

Very Helpful
My therapist requested that I purchase this book to use during our sessions.I have found this book to be very helpful in raising my self awareness and opening my mind to new skills I can use to better manage my emotions, relationships, and Childhood PTSD recovery.

When you read the cover and keep answering "yes" to the questions...
It seems like a hokey sort of thing and the cover has that lure-you-in infomercial feel, but the content within in wonderful. For people who are willing to put the work in and have found a plateau of progress on their own, get this book! This has helped me immensely in my thought processing in general. It really digs at the root.

It is working for me!
I have not finished with this workbook yet, but it is already making a difference in my life. The book gives many illustrations and many ways to deal with working through bad feelings and fears instead of avoiding them using behavior that exacerbates interpersonal problems.I especially love the analogy of Monsters on the Bus - dealing with the bad feelings that I usually attempt to avoid and bad feelings as clouds in an otherwise blue sky that will change with the wind.
