Nice coloring book.
Beautiful coloring book. Nice, thick pages so the gel markers don’t bleed through. Unique pictures.

Gorgeous, interesting drawings! Everything you could want in an adult coloring book!
I have purchased other brands and wound up scanning my favorite drawings and printing them onto quality blend it paper because of the poor paper quality that bled like crazy, changed the quality and colors of the high quality Copic colors I love to use. Talk about a pain (in the neck). One book had BLACK backing to the pages. No idea what they were thinking in that case!I can sit with this Colorit book on my lap because it is backed by sturdy cardboard. The pictures are only on one side. Yes, the markers bleed but all your need is to use the page included to absorb the excess ink. I just use blank copying paper. The pictures are attractive, enticing and varied. Some are more suitable for people who do not want an extremely detailed-oriented drawing like me. Others are more labor intensive. Pages are perforated. I'm certain they rip cleanly off. How do I know that? This company has done everything right with the artistic consumer in mind.I cannot even imagine buying from another company again but I suppose I will... eventually.I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for! And in this case it even comes out cheaper instead of scanning and printing onto BlendIt paper. Not to mention the work that's involved. And my kitten complicates matters as she is obsessed with my printer when the pages shoot out.I prefer these drawings to the ones in other books I've purchased anyway. As a primary teacher, I'd recommend this book for kids as well. Just as long as you are certain the child is not going to rush through the book. I think there are a few tropical drinks in a couple of the drawings. So you rip out those pages or refer to them as Kiddy Cocktails.I'll certainly be buying more Colorit coloring books!

ColorIt books are amazing!!
There books are wonderful and you just have to find one that you like. I own about 8 of them. These are great for colored pencils or markers. I use Prismacolors and Kalour which is on both ends of the spectrum as a more expensive pencil and a cheaper pencil. For markers I use Copic, Spectrum Noir, and I recently tried Ohuhu. I have found the Ohuhu brand to blend very well and I love the way they feel in my hand. The paper on all of their books is like a cardstock and nice to put in a picture frame or lean it on your desk somewhere. Sometimes I lay down a base coat with my markers and then go back and color with pencils to give it that rich look.I purchased the tropical scene coloring book as my daughter lives in Florida and when I color a page I send it to her and it's our love language. You will not be dissatisfied with any of their books.

LOVE
Really loving this coloring book. So many details! It's very relaxing. I loved it so much I gifted one to my mom so that we could do these together while living in different states. When I was little we used to color together. It would always help me relax if I was stressed or anxious about something, and I think if she was stressed or anxious it helped her too. Coloring is just a really nice memory of happy moments away from it all. Anyway, here are the first 3 pages. Very high quality book, thick pages for use with a variety of art mediums, also includes a page you can stick between for extra protection. I chose to use colored pencils, and I like the extra page between to prevent creasing/lines on the next page. Sometimes my outlines I have to press a little hard to get the look I want, and they have never shown up on the other pages. I feel I could have used markers and these would hold up nicely!Love the beachy theme. I hope they make additional nature-esque themed books in the future, like mountains and lakes and such. These pages are much brighter, I forgot to adjust the lighting before taking these photos. The lighting is too dim. But you get the idea.Happy coloring!

Another Winner!!!
For anyone who colors in ColorIT Books knows there is just something different about their paper, the illustrations and overall themes they choose. You will not be disappointed by their newest release of TROPICAL SCENES. While you can make each picture your own by choosing the color scheme you want to follow I personally find it nice to “let loose” and color outside of the lines so to speak. I use non traditional colors for some aspects such as the straw hat but then stuck with blue and gray for the passport. You can then tie it together with an overall pop of color here and there and these illustrations certainly allow for that. ColorIT always has neat layouts and I love that you can use different mediums such as a mix of color pencils, markers and gels pens and get great results. When I was a kid we personally only had crayons so now as an adult its great that we also can have access to these other utensils to use to create really in-depth works of art. While I am obviously still learning how to work successfully in these gorgeous books its a gratifying feeling to be able to open one of ColorIt’s books and choose your page and get lost in it. This newest member to the line up is full of obviously Tropical Scenes, including sea life, plants and flowers and some fun surprises including an amazing Butterfly that will be for my next color calm day. I truly feel that when you compare the ColorIt Books at $19.99 for 50 original hand drawn designs its truly a great deal.
