Sears 41ac150-1m Craftsman Receiver Logic Board

It came with the right board but wrong cover. It was not as easy as just swaping cover. I had to remove the boards from new to old to make it work.

The item pictured is not what was delivered and it was not a Sears OEM complete part. You have to remove the logic board from the outer plastic housing and install in you own housing. If it were described and shown this way, I would not given a low rating. In the end, the boards sent did work and repair my problem.

Thought it was high priced compared to a whole new unit, considering labor was about same time involvement by me. Replace work was pretty quick. 30 minutes on first attempt and first time doing this type of activity.

I bought with the hopes that it would easily replace the old logic board. I had to switch out the old board and install the new board in the old housing but works great. Job was completed in less than an hour.

Don’t buy it. This spare part is not for the model that the provider/channel describes. Their solution is to install the backplane into the old plastic case 😳.

Please read the attached documents closely . Some models require the board to be removed from the new unit and placed on for old one. This was the case for mine and once this was done it works perfectly.

You only get the boards. The picture is false advertising. I sent it back.

I was looking for this part while browsing the Internet and then thought by chance that it could be found on Amazon, which turned out to be true. I knew the exact part number, so I was sure of what I was ordering. I got it at a good price and fast delivery.

The board came on time, as scheduled. I installed it and the door opener works now. I have a few points though. The Learn button/diagnostic LED continues to flash two times at regular times and according to the diagnostics chart that would be a malfunction. I checked everything and found nothing wrong. Since the opener works, I guess I can live with the alert, but still it must be something wrong. I have great doubts about the self-diagnostic accuracy performance of the logic board since according to it, I concluded to buy (separately and before this item), new sensors to replace the old ones which were wrongly diagnosed as faulty. On another point of view, I found the board very pricy (almost half of a new entire door opener system) and the shipping charge unreasonably excessive with no options.But the door opener works now, so I am smiling.March 19, 2019. I forgot to mention that I received only the electronic board in a small box, without the motor unit black mounting cover which is shown on the advertising picture. I installed the new board in the old cover, the opener works as I said, but still overall I am not satisfied with this purchase.

I had issues with my 12 years old remotes - they didn't work! I was trouble shooting by way of elimination. Changing Logic Board hasn't done anything (very pricey item - ref. to previous reviews ). For the same price ( on sale) as Logic Board, I've bought a new Chamberlain garage door opener and it works like a charm. Suggestion: don't waste Your time and money on replacing electronics. Buy new one and be happy! Joe Toronto.
