iLLumiShield Screen Protector Compatible with Motorola Moto G (3-Pack) Clear HD Shield Anti-Bubble and Anti-Fingerprint PET Film

These protectors are the type that are like a thin sheet of plastic and not the film kind. This makes them more durable and much easier to install. The gooey film type usually requires a wet install method and they show imperfections and and trauma to the screen much worse.This particular protector went on a Moto G (non LTE version) and it fit perfectly. It wasn't just close. It was the exact size of the glass of the phone. I was able to install it without any bubbles on the first try. Since it's the thin sheet of plastic kind you actually can peel it back and get a second or third try though. Including cleaning the phone screen, it took me less than 5 minutes to install. I installed it at the end of the day so that it could set up overnight. I'm not sure if this is even necessary but it's something that I've always done and I've had multiple iLLumiShield protectors last 1-2 years on my devices. I've actually never had one peel or show any signs of wear. I always end up selling the devices with the protector still intact.The feeling of the protector is just a hair grippier than glass. I prefer it over a naked screen. It's compatible with styluses too. The plastic that it's made of is quite durable in my opinion. I've never had one show a scratch but then again I'm not exactly rough on my devices.Overall I'm completely satisfied with this product and I'll continue to go for iLLumiShield when it's available for my devices.

Illumishield is a great company, awesome customer service. Although when installing the screen protector, the red sticker is difficult to remove and does create a bit of a hassle once you have placed and positioned the film to fit as needed. I went through the first two in the pack,following the directions during my first attempts just due to the red sticker lifting and creating air pockets and bends in the film. By my final attempt, I was able to figure just to get the red tab off before applying at all. Illumishield was prompt to replace the films since there was such issues. The new screen protectors they have sent out now do not include a red sticker(as a seperate step) instruction and the company has also adjusted the installation process instructions as well.I do appreciate wonderful customer service in combination with a great product, this is a great product-just initially a pain to install, now they have corrected that so I am editing my review accordingly. The screen protector is awesome,the install is easy (keep your hands very clean & avoid touching the face of the film until it is positioned) the customer service is top notch & the purchase is absolutely well worth it.

i have used a number of screen protectors over the years and thought they all were pretty much the same, i was wrong as i discovered when this one arrived. it looks like any other screen protector once out of the box. however once you start to apply it then you know just how much better these are than the others. it is so much easier to apply than those others. usually takes me a few attempts to get one lined up perfect but this took one try, not even a minute and i was done. bubbles another typical problem of those other protectors, not an issue hardly at all with these. i had but one tiny bubble along one corner and that was it! clarity is very good too. you get a spare with as well as a buffing cloth and the applicator. no matter the phone from here on out this is the only brand of screen protectors i will use.

Purchased this for my Moto G. I did not experience the problems some other users reported. My screen protectors fit the Moto G perfectly and I had no trouble applying them.It appears that due to the complaints, iLLumiShield has been reaching out to purchasers to ensure that they get the correct Moto G screen protectors. I was surprisedwhen they contacted me to let me know they were sending me replacement screen protectors, even though I had not reported a fit issue. I did receive them, too, no charge. Seems like great customer service, and I have purchased more screen protectors from them as a result of the experience.

The screen protector makes air bubble removal easy during installation compared to other products on the market. Keeping static build up to a minimum seems to be a challenge with all screen protectors. Static attracts dust which is a problem if it gets on the adhesive side of the screen protector. My biggest problem with this screen protector was lining up the border to the border of my Moto G. My suggestion would be to remove 0.010" of the screen protector perimeter. That would give the customer "more room for error" regarding line up relative to the Moto G screen edge. I found if the screen was not installed exactly correct on all 4 corners, 1 or 2 corners would never completely adhere to the surface of the Moto G screen. I had to re-position the screen protector too many times. By that time, I had attracted 1 or 2 dust partials to the screen protector adhesive side and had to try again with a new screen protector. Just reduce the outer dimensions of your produce and it will be perfect.

You can't beat this for the price! It fit perfectly on both of my Moto Gs. Package came with 3 protectors. I was able to apply each one almost perfectly on the 1st try to each phone. So, I now have one extra. On each phone, there was only one little air bubble but I believe that it was due to a piece of dust lying underneath. I have applied many protectors like this to different types of devices & no matter how hard you try, there is almost always one little bubble. I highly recommend this protector.

There are 2 paper/plastic tabs that have to be removed. The tab removed before installation came off cleanly. The other tab only partly came off, leaving paper residue and glue on the phone cover corner. On the three sheets I tried, one after another, the tab wouldn't come off! The tab's clear coating peeled off, leaving the paper that seemed heavily (and permanently?) glued to the shield. The tab, naturally, obscures the screen and looks quite ugly. Perhaps I had a batch where they were trying a new glue, but whatever the cause, I was unable to use these. Also, sheet seems to be a tad too long for this model phone..
