As advertised and easy installation
As advertised. I am replacing 2 alarms that had just reached their length of life. I didn’t need the wiring or collar and these new ones plugged in and screwed into the existing collar. Easy. Hopefully good for another 10 years.

Replacement Hard Wire Smoke and CO2 Detectors
I ordered 6 replacement smoke/CO2 detectors for our home - ours were nearing the 10 year expiration - and the order was exactly what I needed and fit the hard wire set up for our system. I tested the units and all were operating correctly. The units even came with 9V batteries. Very pleased with this purchase.

Not a direct replacement for the older model
It’s a fine unit but it is not a direct replacement for my older model. My house was built in 2019, and 1 detector was malfunctioning si I needed this unit. I was hoping to just unplug my old one and plug this unit in. But the plugs are a different size and I had to disconnect the old one and wire up the new plug. I he to change the trim plate as well. It was easy to do, but it’s just wired that I went to the trouble to Oder this as a direct replacement.
