Spigen Tough Armor Designed for OnePlus 7 Pro Case (2019) - Black

Have had several Spigen cases over the years. They have not disappointed. Good protection and not too bulky/heavy. It is actually a 2 piece type case that you have to use together on the phone. A soft rubber part that basically surrounds the phone and a hard plastic part for the middle of the back side to keep it rigid. The combined pieces are so well made that it looks and feels like it is just a 1 piece case. No issues putting the case on the phone either. The plastic back part has a smooth texture like hard velvet which is almost the same feel as the rubber part so it doesn't snag in your pockets but it can be a little slippery but of course not as slippery as the phone itself. The case in not overly bulky or heavy and has great drop protection as the corners and edges are all covered. The head and chin area of the screen side also have a slight lip so your screen is not flush with a table if you put it face down. Since this phone has curved side edges, the side edges are basically completely flush on the case so the screen is completely seen as if you don't have a case. The button hole for the slide switch is ok, but large fingertip people may have a little issue with it. You may need to use your fingernails to be able to move the switch, but I have no issues with this. Honestly, the phone maker is more at fault with this type of odd switch design, so I don't blame Spigen for how they had to put the smallish hole for the odd switch. The other buttons are normal push type and the case has correct positions for it and the press pressure is firm so you rarely press by accident. I hear some people complain that the buttons on the case are very smooth and only have slight cutouts that you don't really feel so you can't find them. But why would you need to push buttons by feel in the first place? You should know where your buttons are on your own phone if you use it. Has an integrated kickstand that retracts to be flush with the back so watching movies while eating is great. Again, no issues with the fit. This one for the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G (fits same as normal version) fits perfectly and all the holes are perfect including the pop up camera, speakers, mikes. The dual sim-tray is covered, but that really doesn't matter. Overall, this case is great and well worth the money.

I wanted to try this out before leaving a review. And I can say it is a wonderful product! I have dropped my phone a few times, because I am a clumsy one, and it held up! Never broke or even scratched! Will definitely recommend!

I previously used a Ringke Fusion X case, which I loved, and lasted 5 years - but I could not find it again. Overall, I have really enjoyed this case as a replacement.It seems to offer comparable protection to the Ringke, and I think it may be even thicker, without feeling too much bulkier. The power button and alert slider buttons have felt easy to access. However, I do still often mis-identify the volume buttons as they are flush with the outer surface of the case.The case doesn't seem to mark that much so far (finger prints, scratches etc). The surface may feel a bit slippery / plasticky to some, but I haven't minded it, and haven't had any problems with grip yet.I haven't really used the kick stand yet, but it seems sturdy.Again, overall, a solid case for an aging phone, which seems (so far) like it will get it comfortably to the end of its use.

This is a well built, sturdy case. I was looking for a slim case with solid protection (which don't always go hand in hand) and this is the best compromise. It doesn't add much bulk at all and still manages to feel like it could take a beating.Pros:-Cut outs are very accurate, USB port cut out is wide enough to accommodate virtually any size Type-C you might have.-The buttons retain their clicky feel through the case.-The secondary plastic material (the blue part on the version I purchased) has a nice grippy texture similar to that of the rubberized surface on high performance laptops, but with out attracting as many fingerprints.-The kick stand felt too thin, until you use it. It's surprisingly sturdy and a great feature.Cons-The cut out for the Alert Slider above the power button is rather deep, and I have to either use my finger/thumb nail to operate it, or press my thumb in the cut out very firmly to get enough grip to move it.-The kickstand holds the phone nearly perpendicular to the surface you set it on, which is too steep if you're sitting at a table/desk. You don't have much adjustability before the stand falls shut.These are minor for my use case (the amazing screen on the OnePlus 7 Pro makes up for the kickstand angle and my phone stays on 'Ring' most of the time anyway), and I still highly recommend the case.P.S. The blue looks awesome, it has an almost two tone quality depending on the light.

OnePlus 7 Pro is a most beautiful phone out there, all glass front and the back all sides and edges curved. That makes it super slippery though. Electronics and craftsmanship is the very first grade. I basically have it running 24/7 for the last 3 years. Definitely worth protecting. The original OnePlus cover does a decent job. However this cover is something else. As a mechanical design engineer I grade it A+. All the buttons and pop-up selfie camera are fully functional. The buttons which normally slightly protrude from the phone housing are now covered inside the softer cover body and are completely level with the outside contour of the phone. The additional hard shell combines with the soft body and creates very functional compounded unity. It incorporates an additional svingigng reading holder and protects the phone from outside pressures in case of some fairly rough cell phone gadgets (like my motorcycle aluminum phone holder). I can only recommend it and will get an additional one for myself just in case.

An affordable, moderately durable, thick without bulk phone case. My phone works just as well with the case as without and is protected against moderate drops, falls, slips, and the well-known slide-across-the-bed-straight-into-the-wall event we all cringe over.
