20-Pack EFIELD Pex 1/2 Inch x 1/2 Inch Female NPT Drop-ear Elbow - for Transition from Pex to Threaded Pipe

This product allows one to fix an elbow to an interior brace and with the use of a plumbing nipple connect to a tub spout, shower head or built-in hand held shower nozzle. My latest project involved PEX tubing, one of these elbows and worked well. PEX and threaded connections did not leak and installation was easy. Also, less expensive than same item purchased from Lowes.

One of the two were defective and would not stop leaking even after three installation attempts. Looks like a defect when it was cast on the pex side, otherwise these would have both rocked!It’s said, I pex’d an entire house with Efield fittings and this is the only one that leaked.

Looked great until I turned the water on. One was okay and the other one leaked. Upon closer inspection the barb where the pex tubing attaches was actually cracked. The brass actually had a hairline crack in the casting. Rather then go through the trouble of getting a replacement, I broke out the brazing equipment, brazed the crack closed and used the part anyway. No problems since.

same quality as in the store. i wish the mounting ears were bigger and holes were bigger. had to drill out to use with tapcons for concrete

Easy to install and connect. Had to place in an akward locaton and it worked great.

These work as intended. No leaks.

It worked fine, just like any other. It's hard tp screw up am elbow.
