Plate Rack

Exceeded my expectations. This is a really fine piece of woodwork - solidly built, beautiful, flawless finish on high-quality, richly grained oak. The rubber feet were perfectly leveled - no wobble. The dowels in the back are removable for customization; my dinner plates have a deep rim, so I removed every other dowel for them to fit, and left all the dowels in on the other half, for the salad plates. I am remodeling my kitchen with larger windows, which will leave me with one less wall cabinet - this rack is the perfect solution for my dishes. Any dinnerware, from fine china to stoneware, will look beautiful displayed in this rack.The item was delivered a day ahead of schedule.My only (mild) complaint is with the packaging - the rack was wrapped in thick, soft shop towels (good) and nested in styrofoam peanuts, which I hate. They were so staticky that they literally flew up out of the box as I tried to get them into a trash bag - they got all over by the time I got the rack out of the box. The packaging did prevent damage, but it was a huge mess to unpack the item.Nevertheless, the mess was worth it for this item. Very happy with my purchase.

This is a wonderful addition to my kitchen, holding large plates and oval platters with room on the shelf for cups. One nice feature is the dowels that help hold the plates in the back are removable so you can make room for rounder plates. However, with my piece, several dowels that weren't removed have slipped or fallen out, which makes me leery to hang it on my wall.

love the look but to tall to fit under cabinets. The slot are narrow and will only work with very flat items.

Beautiful workmanship. Great value. Worth every penny.
