Nice sturdy toy and fun to play with.

My son is 2 & recently became very interested in play food & imaginary play. He’s also a huge fan of ice cream… but who isn’t?! Since he really likes magnet tiles and other magnetized toys, I though this would be a fun addition to his toy kitchen. I really wish you could store everything this set includes in the little ice cream container. You can fit the ice cream in there, but not the scoopers. The last thing I need is a bunch of separate pieces floating around that he can lose. I ended up putting them in his shopping cart, but might get him another container to keep everything together.The magnets are fairly strong, but not the strongest. You can really only hold one ice cream at a time on the scooper, sometimes two scoops. He tries to pick up the ice cream from the cone with the scooper, but the magnet doesn’t always have the strongest pull. The scoopers are most effective when placing the ice cream on a cone.There’s lots of ways to play with this set! You can count the scoops, talk about the flavors and colors, set up an imaginary ice cream truck or shop… Just have fun with it! I highly recommend adding this to your collection of play food. Perfect for ages 2+ (This would make the PERFECT gift for anyone celebrating a “2 Sweet” birthday!!).Hope this helps! 😉

We originally saw this or a similar version at the Glazer Kids Museum, set up like an ice cream parlor. This is the perfect addition for home and loved by my three year old daughter and niece. Very fun and well done.

I love how sturdy all the pieces feel. And the use of magnets inside the scooper and on the rest of the pieces is genius. My only complaint is that the ice cream carton is not big enough to also store the cones in, only the ice cream scoops fit.

My 2 year old is obsessed with this toy and goes back to it time and time again

It's a nice set. The kids enjoy it. I wish the magnet that holds the ice cream to the cone was a bit stronger. They fall off without any effort which has been frustrating for the children.

Mellisa and Doug does it again. This is a cute little ice cream set. Just bought to have this set at my house for the grandkids. They just love it. Just the right size not so many piece to be picked up when done playing . This is a hit everything one of them come over, played with every time
