Very nice gift for the cyclist who has it all
Very happy with this purchase! I bought these bookends as a gift for my cyclist son-in-law. After receiving them, I'm considering ordering another set for another bicycle enthusiast in our family. They are very sturdy metal bookends, look lovely and will be a whimsical and appropriate addition to their decor.The packaging arrived rather rumpled, and looked like it had been dropped on one corner. To my relief, there was no damage to the bookends. It was shipped in only the maker's product box marked "extremely fragile do not drop" and it was made of very thin cardboard. Usually, Amazon places these types of products in their own sturdy boxes, but to my surprise they didn't this time. No harm, no foul and best of all, no damage.I did not receive any benefit from writing this review.

Fantastic!
Everything about this is awesome. It looks fantastic and is well made. The weight is perfect. It holds the books in place without budging. It's been over a month since I received this and I am still very happy with it and get lots of compliments.

great bookends
This was a gift for the cyclist in the family and he loved the book ends. They are heavy and very detailed and finished off with a bronze like finish. Very expensive looking. Very nice gift for any one.

This is not only a well-contructed functional pair of bookends, but also a beautiful work of art.The detail and careful workmanship is lovely and speaks to care that someone took to make it.The pieces are carefully welded together into a sturdy replica of a bike.I was very proud and excited to give it to the bicycle enthusiast in our family for Christmas.

Better than pictured
Purchased this as a gift for a couple who loves biking. Went to a party of theirs and the there were bicycle ornaments all over. They loved these bookends and sent me a picture of how they were using them. Great gift!
