Convatec 183910 Stomahesive Paste 2 Ounce, (4 Pack (3 Count))

Contrary to the other reviewer here, I've used this paste for over 15 years with no problems at all. I like it better than any other on the market that I've tried. I'm 33 and VERY active. I run, bike, swim, play baseball, basketball, bowl and I'm a black belt in Taekwondo, that's just to name a few activities I do. To say not the best for active folks, I totally disagree. No one ever wants to be in a position of having to change a colostomy bag, but if you are, this stuff is awesome. If flesh were hard and unbending like a board, keeping a flange in place without leaking would not be a problem. But flesh is soft and pliable, and even with good adhesive on the flange and good prep to the skin, there can easily be pockets of air through which the contents of the bag can leak, no matter how much smoothing you do. This stuff, which has the consistency much like denture adhesive, fills in the areas where the skin doesn't want to attach to the flange.

One of the few products that I can count on to hold my ostomy Wafer on. Nothing worse than using cheap paste and having it fail. Best part is that the cost is about the same as the others.

I have a difficult stoma - one that requires careful application of additional material to prevent leaks. The wound care nurses at Walter Reed use this stuff and that's all the recommendation I needed. It does the job of sealing weak points in a seal/barrier very well.

Quality can't be excuse for the price..
