I wanted to love this mat as much as the other reviewers seem to but I do see some flaws. I bought this mat so that my two year old son would feel more secure in the bathtub. It is a heavy mat which to me is plus. It does not have a chemical smell, rinses easily and does dry rather quickly considering its weight. However, it is small, really look at the product photo ( I didn't) and so was surprised when it left a lot of the tub bottom unprotected. The pattern is a rough texture, while providing great non slip protection for your feet, we found it very uncomfortable to sit upon. It does leave marks/indentations on the skin. This may be a concern for someone with sensitivity issues. It doesn't float in the water because of poor suction but it did move around while my son was playing in the tub. I would say that if using while showering this mat would be great, but for bathing it didn't work as expected.

I wondered how 700 reviews liked this product. This is an very dangerous product. After putting it on the bath tub- I have 4 people slip on it and hurt themselves. After putting this on, there is literally no difference between a barren tub floor vs with this thing on it. Atleast with the barren tub floor, people getting in are more careful- whereas this thing gives a completely false perception of it actually gripping. The suction cups are useless and even worse if your floor becomes wet- ironically around 5-10% of the cups engage in dry conditions- and its feels like < 1 % of the cups engage when it becomes wet surface- would NEVER recommend this to anyone!

Overall, my wife and I are VERY pleased with this bathmat. It was a terrific value at the price we paid! Initially, our choice was driven by both cost and the desire for a mat that fit with our health choices. Being BPA and Latex free were important factors.The first “operational” function of the mat for us is grip. We both want a mat that we can trust to stay in place and provide traction (good footing) while we shower. This mat does both. We also want a mat that sheds water quickly so when we hang it up after showering it isn’t a messy, drippy affair. The FeschDesign mat seems to quickly allow for water to slide right off as it’s being lifted from the tub floor. We also like the calm beige color and the design pattern.

I am thrilled with this product. I have an old and very ugly shower/bath tub. The tub floor is very slippery and once there's soap involved, it's a deathtrap. I would grab the towel bar on the wall, whenever I stepped out of the shower. Well, I finally slipped, thankfully, I didn't fall but I did end up ripping the towel bar out of the wall.I finally broke down and purchased this mat. It grabs the slipper tub floor just fine. It's comfortable to stand on and it offers solid traction without feeling rough on my feet. Even with slipperiest of body washes, it offers more than adequate traction.

This is the perfect bath mat!! I am 74 years old, in good shape but starting to be a little concerned about slipping when I take a shower. I had other mats and then tried adhesive strips. I was not satisfied with any. This really makes me feel secure and is so cushiony (don't know if there is such a word) and soft. I do not leave it on the floor of the tub after showering but hang it on side of tub to dry. I would definitely recommend this mat to anyone who wants to feel safe, secure and pampered when taking a shower.

Some in-tub bath mats are uncomfortable, all knobby and made of plastic.This mat is not those mats...this one, made of rubber, is soft enough to sit or stand on very comfortably, yet keeps you from slipping or falling. As long as you remove it from the tub and let it hang to dry, it won’t mold or mildew.I’m very pleased with this mat! Makes getting into or out of a wet tub much safer, and the soft rubber is very comfortable.

I ordered this bath mat after reading excellent reviews on Amazon. It is nicely made, with a lot of little suction cups that keep it safely in place. The top has a pattern of squares that help make it non-skid, too. I use it for my toddler during her bath time. I feel it is comfortable and helps keep her safe. It is 100x better made, safer and more functional than a baby bath mat I previously bought her from a big box store. Highly recommended!

I really like this bath mat, it suctions to the tub really well and is large enough that I feel safe getting out of the tub. I just pull it up and spray if off and hang it to dry after each use.
