Dakine Petal Mat Stomp Pad

Put this on my daughter snowboard. She loves it.

Solid, not flexible. But good fit. Just what we needed.

Definitely NOT peel and stick adhesive. I bought this specifically because it said "peel and stick" rather than having to use a blow dryer. I've tried those stomp pads before and just like this one - it never sticks. The instructions in the packaging said the blow dry the board, then blow dry stomp pad and place on the board - so clearly not "peel and stick." Even if this was the type of stomp pad I wanted, I would still give a 1. I was blow drying this thing for more than 5 mins and when I placed it on the the board and stepped on it for quite a while, it didn't stick one bit.

I've used Dakine Stomp pads for many years and have always been very satisfied. Unfortunately, this one was not as satisfying. The backing fused with the adhesive, taking more than half of the adhesive with it during removal. I bought another stomp pad (snowflake design) and the backing came off as it should. I would recommend getting that one instead. For me, the Petal Mat was garbage.
