The item was purchased in the US for a Samsung RV415 laptop, as advertised in the item page title: "CSE New Laptop Battery Replacement for Samsung Rv408 Rv508 Rv411 Rv415 Rv511 Rv515 Rv510 R420 R428 R430 R439 R429 R440 R505 R522 R523 R466 R462 463 R464 R465 R468 R470 P428 Notebook Computer Battery". After installing it in the laptop,I proceeded to the instructions, letting it discharge to 2% for then charging it back to normal usage. The problem is that it never charged afterwards. Some forum research revealed that it would not charge in the RV415 because its voltage is 11 volts, while the original battery voltage is 14,8. volts. I would have checkedthat if the seller did not advertise it as compatible with Rv415. Now I am in Brazil and stuck with this useless item, because shiping it back to return it would cost me more than the actual refund could pay. So, money spent, no solution and no way out of it, that is the cause of this one-star review.

I purchased this replacement battery for our Samsung as the OEM that came with it was not holding must charge. Popped the replacement in place and had 2 hours without a charge. Now we can read the paper and world news and email and still have power left. Good replacement. Order came just as what was stated on order form. Thanks, I would recommend CSEDirect to friends.

I received the battery in 2 days as promised. I am pleased to say it fit perfectly and works as well as I had hoped. It charges quickly and givesme a good 3 hours of solid use, several hours of intermittent use. I've only had it for 10 days, so I can't speak to the long term performance, but I'm very happy with it so far.

The battery was received as promised and is working well in the computer. It fits nice just like the original battery. I did not give it 5 stars because I have not had it long enough to evaluate the life of the battery or charge. So far, so good.

Fit just like the original and as a bonus has a charge indicator on the battery pack. Just push the button and the LED light bar lights up showing the remaining charge.
